I can't believe we've lived here for 12 years before visiting High Noon but we rectified that last night. I love, love love the ambience here. It's obviously a former residence with a tiny 6 foot doorway into the dining areas. We were seated in the first, darker room (the main dining room is much brighter and has higher ceilings), which definitely fit the vibe of the night: cozy, darker, warmer. Our waitress was lovely and brought us our margaritas right away. High noon, like most higher end restaurants, had about 6-8 options for margaritas: I got the Berry Margarita, with blackberry flavoring, and my husband got the spicy option with red chile and pinon salt. To start, we got the three amigos, which has chips and salsa, guac, and queso in chip bowls. The salsa was very tomato-y and probably could have used some garlic or chipotle to give it some depth. The guac was fresh and the queso was warm and cheesy. For dinner, I got the tenderloin with the mushroom enchiladas and my husband got the green chile cheesburger. My steak was tender and cooked just as specified (medium rare because I'm not an animal) and my husband's burger was the same (medium well, because....) he wasn't a huge fan of the shoestring fries, but that's usually a personal preference. I devoured the mushroom enchiladas.... Easily the highlight of the meal. The mushrooms were earthy and perfectly cooked and using them in an enchilada was new to me... yum! We had a second round of drinks in lieu of dessert and they were superb... my husband switched over to one with orange juice and said he liked that one better than the red chile option... take that for what it's worth. The ambience was lovely, the service was warm, and the food was delicious. Can't ask for more than that! Unless you are looking for a glimpse of the haunted spirits that was supposed to hang out there... we were left high and dry! Maybe next time.

Such a wonderful experience I have never been to New Mexico and this place found a way to integrate the culture directly into the dining experience. The tres amigos was the best start to our meal, the portions were so big I couldn't get the chance to have desert! The best problem to have honestlyThank you Michelle you were so kind!!!Such great hospitality from all the staff

My husband and I visit High Noon every Christmas season. Todays visit was wonderful. We love the first room by the bar. Typically quieter, lovely nichos with festive colors. Our visit was excellent today. We had the Tres Amigos as an appetizer with a couple of prickly pear margaritas. We also had the blue corn stacked enchiladas. Very well done. It's our favorite place for Thanksgiving too. Great service, although the holiday music was a bit over the top on this day.

Disappointed update; Again I requested to leave an item off my order & it came on it anyway (beware food allergies), My mom asked for something on the side & didn't get it at all. The salsa, Chiles & pasole are for tourists who don't know better, queso is grainy, Guac is just avocado, cheese enchiladas had almost no cheese inside just warm greasy tortillas (but it did have a hair!) I asked for smothered Xmas and got a tablespoon of each, the pintos tasted like canned and kind of sweet, THE ONLY good thing was the actual shredded beef. I fear inconsistency like this, the only constant was messing up.

First time at High Noon tonight and couldnt be happier. Atmosphere is great, service was friendly and food was top notch. Both my wife and I had the beef bites for an app, then each had the ribeye. Will definitely be returning!

The blue corn tacos are great! With the side of chilaquiles you're definitely getting your money's worth. Cool adobe design and atmosphere.

Really enjoyed the experience. The place is true adobe made and has an awesome sky light. Does not say it but there is parking in the dirt lot just to the west. So cool the original adobe door way is so small.Food is great. They did have issue is other the drink machine but they will get that worked out. I had the posole and it was good. I liked that they give a side of lime.

We dined at High Noon for a late weekday lunch. The restaurant is in a very touristy area in Old Town. It is super cute on the inside, nice 4 tops and large banquets available. They had everything decorated for Christmas....really cute!! Our server was very kind and efficient, even when he started getting multiple tables. Our drinks were never empty, and he was quick to bring anything we needed. I believe his name was Jerome, and he was wonderful!!! Now this is purely based on individual tastes, but our meals, while filling, just were not seasoned to our liking. The meat on the chili cheeseburger, and the pork in the burrito was really bland. I would come back for another meal here, however..... solid 4 stars.

Fantastic dinner! Did some research and liked the menu so we booked a reservation. First off the atmosphere was really nice, casual and sophisticated. We had the prickly pear margaritas to start. Then we ordered the Chile Rellenos & Blue Corn Taco Platter. This was huge btw, it came with the chili relleno, rice and beans and 3 tacos. Also they let you get one of each so I tired all 3, beef, chicken and veggie. For the other entree and the one we had previously read about was the High Noon Tenderloin with mashed potato enchiladas. Both dishes were incredible. If I had to choose a favorite it would be the steak, it was cooked to perfection. The portion size was very large for both entrees, so sadly we were too full for dessert.
