I don't know how we've missed this lovely restaurant & wine bar!? I guess because the entrance looks so small.. but it OPENS UP once you're inside.VERY convenient to the Lensic for pre-show sustenance. We dropped in for an app & wine/beer. We were given a free sample of a sweet wine & then ordered the MEATBALLS -- plenty to share & DELICIOUS! We had a glass of wine & a hefeweizen beer on tap that was also SO TASTY! The interior, we decided, felt like we were in an OLD establishment on Bourbon Street in New Orleans. SPACIOUS & light-filled. There is a walkway with tables around the upper part of the atrium, so you're closer to the sky -- and many cushy couches to sit on downstairs. We'll DEFINITELY be back! The staff could NOT have been more friendly or helpful -- but maybe more importantly -- they were very attentive without "interrupting" - Total class act.

First of all, it was bright. At 830pm it was super bright, so if you're looking for a chill wine bar style ambiance, this ain't it. It had potential, the space is actually pretty cool--cavernous inside and overall appointed well but why so damn bright? Service was fine, although the server was somehow convinced the wagyu burger wasn't all beef. In any case, we ordered the beet salad and a burger and the food was... mid. They looked like the safest things to order on the menu, which contained a bunch of things that didn't look like they overreached in their ambition but still looked like they might contain some landmines. The wine was good! Not the best wine we had all week in Santa Fe, but eminiently drinkable.

A unique name to pronounce but an atmosphere so easy to enjoy! Herve provides a location that is tucked away and rewards those who find it I attended a legislative reception which overlooked the courtyard. The food and the view coupled with the wine Really made for a nice combination.

This place wasn't awful but far from decent. it wasn't horrible either. We went during the day around 2PM. No one seated us. No one gave us a menu and we calmly patiently waited too. There was maybe five patrons in there seated. I grabbed the menus and ended up seating ourselves. Finally the waitress came over. She was very friendly and sweet tho. The food was...meh. Would I go back again? No I would not.

After several hours of touristing about Santa Fe, Herve Wine Bar sounded like the perfect place to rest our feet and rehydrate, so to speak. The space is gorgeous and light-filled. There is seating on two floors in an interior courtyard. We were greeted immediately by a very friendly server who let us pick our seat. After asking the server a few questions about options, we ordered a few appetizers (bacon-wrapped dates and the bruschetta sampler) and two different wine flights. We enjoyed everything tremendously and would love to go back here again.

After great disappointment. 7:15 dinner in a very empty restaurant. Ordered a bottle of Heritage Pinot Noir. Waitress dumped the wine in my glass...no tasting. The Pinot was light in color and was almost as sweet as Kool-Aid. Medium Rare Steak Frites were well done and bone dry. Highlight of the meal was the shoestring french fries. We won't be back.

What a gem in downtown Santa Fe! This place gets an A+ in ambiance-so cute and cozy on the inside, with a beautiful bar and wine shop. A great venue to showcase their local wines, which is all they serve. The service was impeccable, and the food was also very good. We ordered calamari as an appetizer, and it was one of the best I've had. Definitely a place to check out while you're in Santa Fe!

We arrived a little early, hoping to get a glass of wine while we waited for our table. I have never seen two people behind the bar work so hard to avoid eye contact with customers. I waited patiently for over 10 minutes without service. I turned away and when I came back a little bit later, the two ladies were eating behind the bar, still ignoring customers. At that point, we didn't feel welcome and started to notice an unhappy trend with the other staff as well. It was now past our reservation time and others were also having to getting service at the bar. Diners leaving said the food was fair, but service was awful. At that point, we decided to leave.

we came in for an afternoon drink on a slow Monday. I'm personally a white wine drinker so there were not a lot of options so I decided to try the hatch Margarita. It was over the top amazing with lots of fresh peppers in it but not too spicy! The ambiance would be better at night but the margarita was complex and very surprising. We saw a few flights and they looked like generous pours. Will try that next time.
