Amazingly delicious elevated Mexican food with exceptional service.I'd been hearing good things about this place and had it on my need-to-go list for a while before my friend and I finally made time to cross town to try it out. It was well worth the visit!Everything we had was plated beautifully and tasted even more delicious than it looked. It is nice to find a place like this which stands out from the rest in the quality of ingredients, choice of combinations of flavors, and skill in plating. We will definitely be back as I immediately added it to my expanding list of favorite restaurants.

Carne asada tacos with a myriad of sauces were elegantly presented in black take out containers. Black takeout containers may pose a health risk because they can contain toxic chemicals like flame retardants and heavy metals. These chemicals can leach into food. The restaurant and bathroom s sparkling clean and the staff is very friendly. The food is delicious . Tacos for two $35.00.

While I liked the interior and service, I came because I was hungry. The food was bleh. The price was $$$.We had a lunch special enchilada plate with mole. Nothing extraordinary- we ate it because we were hungry. They started us with tortillas and three salsas. The tomatillos was good, the rest weren't. My husband ordered their sangria , his report was not good. Im likely not coming here again. I don't like to say never.

Herencia offers a great dining experience with flavorful and delicious dishes. I highly recommend them! The restaurant has beautiful wall art and if it wasn't so cold outside I would have enjoyed their cute patio. We started with the Del Mar appetizer, a tostada topped with scallops, shrimp, and crab, paired with a variety of salsas. For our entrées, I had the Costilla de Res, and my husband chose the Chuleta de Puerco. Both dishes were delicious. To finish, my husband enjoyed the coconut flan for dessert, which he said was amazing. The service was excellent, and I can't wait to return and explore more of their menu!

Tried the new place based off of the reviews from Facebook. Presentation wise, the restaurant and food looks amazing. It's trying very hard to be "posh". If you want pretty, fine dining, smaller portions of food, this place is for you. If you are really hungry, go elsewhere. That being said, the chips and salsa are interesting. I enjoyed the variety of the three flavors for the salsas. Wasn't a fan of the soggy chips. I tried the crab enchiladas (2) and the sauce was incredible. The zucchini veggie side was my favorite of the entire experience. The rice was ok. Just green rice. The only drawback was....i was still hungry after eating it all. Like, very hungry. Flavor yes. Filling no.

Being from Texas we haven't been very impressed with the Mexican food in New Mexico. Until NOW!!! This place is amazing, the food , the service and the atmosphere. The owner is there greeting all the guests and talking with them. The food was amazing and will now be our go to spot for Mexican food. I had a pork chop that was cooked to perfection. Just the right amount of spices . My wife had the medallion and it was also delicious. But the best part, the Pecan Flan, I don't even like flan and this was fantastic. Oh, one more thing they make the Cesar salad table side. You definitely have to try this place

We came down to visit this new restaurant a few weeks ago on a Wednesday night and we were warmly greeted by a server who quickly sat us at the table of our choice (being super new they weren't yet swamped). While we were reviewing the long menu, the owner himself greeted us and told us the story of the wall art, which features his family who inspired all of his recipes. This restaurant is STUNNING so I particularly enjoyed the backstory of the mural and its connection to the food we were about to enjoy. Instead of the typical chips and salsa, we received a trio of salsas (including a mole!) and soft blue corn tortillas to dip with them. Sooooo good. Following that opener, we all ordered tacos. My husband got tacos al pastor and I got them with carne asada. Both were fresh, full of savory meat, and just exemplary. Our margaritas were strong and equally tasty. It's a pity we didn't save room for dessert, but we will definitely be back. This is a proud, heritage-based Mexican restaurant that we look forward to returning to over and over and over.

Food, service and atmosphere were outstanding! Loved the sangria, appetizers (fruita y tacos), and have had 2 entrees which were excellent

great authentic Mexican Food, Guadalajara style. you may add mole or any of their available three salsas to any of your plate orders. everything we have ordered here is very delicious. if you have never been to Mexico City or Guadalajara you have never this type of cuisine and you will absolutely LOVE IT!owner Enrique and his family use recipes that are family traditions from generations past and you must try it. it is located in the same Mall as IL Vicino Pizza and Sprouts market. enjoy as we have done many times since they opened this past year in 2024. great tasty foodattentive and fast serviceambiance is a thing of pride for the owner as he or his son will visit every table.

This place is so sweet. The ambience, the service, most of all the food - top notch! We started with the cheese, which is grilled and came with sauce, microgreens, and tortillas. Actually before that we ordered the house made orange-ade which was fizzy orange juice. They offer table side margaritas and sangria. My spouse ordered the shrimp, I got the carne en su jugo. I get the feeling you could not go wrong ordering here - there were multiple other dishes we wanted to try and will come back for! Everything is delicious. Every dish was composed with care and complementary flavors / textures. For dessert? At least four flavors of flan including classic and chocoflan. The regular menu is gluten free, not sure if that includes the cake in the chocoflan. The owner checked in with all the tables multiple times during the meal. Come summer, I expect their patio will be the place to be!
