After years of travelling on 14 between Santa Fe and Albuquerque I finally stopped at the Henderson store. I never noticed it before but I picked up the Turquoise Trail brochure and it sounded interesting. I was pleasantly surprised. They have a great selection and they are more reasonably priced then the shops in Madrid. The people who run the store are wonderful and kind patient people. Moreover, if you buy something there they know who made it and can give you info on the artist. Not many shops or trading posts can or will do that. In the future I will always stop at Henderson store for the great selection and the nice people running it.

Stellar customer service as I take my time perusing, never feeling rushed. So many options for some, but others visit for just the right Navajo rug. Either way, it's a wonderful experience. Thank you for sustaining your customer base and making us feel welcome! Namaste!

I've never been in a store like this one so for me this is memorable. There is A LOT of pottery here that I think was made by Native Americans. There are also beautiful rugs and jewelry. What's also cool is that there are items from the private collection on display including a big case of cool stones and fossils right when you walk in. Its like a store with a mini museum. The folks who work here were friendly.

I had read wonderful things about this store on the Turquoise Trail and cannot recommend it highly enough. I am waiting for a house to be completed, so I went there with my daughter expecting to look only. That did not happen as the store is filled with wonderful, high quality Southwestern Indian pottery, rugs, handmade silver jewelry, etc. at very reasonable, competitive prices. I will return, and strongly urge you to visit yourselves, and to take out of town guests as well. The store is currently open Tuesday through Saturday, 10:00-3:30.

Great store a few miles south of Madrid. The place is chocked full of native goods, including artesian pottery and other goodies. I bought a piece of Pueblo pottery and the gentleman shared all the details of the artist as well as boxed it up nicely for me. Be sure to visit!

I have been trading at the Henderson Store for over 40 years with long gaps between visits but I always feel welcome there My first purchases, a two gray hills rug followed by some Turquoise jewelry, were from Vera Henderson back in the 70s. More recently in 2016 we added a couple more rugs to our collection. Unfortunately Vera is gone now but the store is now run by her daughter and son-in-law. These folks continue the Henderson Store traditions accompanied by friendly chat and atmosphere. In April of this year (2017) we were in town again but unfortunately only on Sunday and Monday, the days they are closed. Whenever I'm near by, I try to visit the Henderson Store - a wonderful place! High quality goods at reasonable prices.

We stopped at this store on the Turquoise Trail as recommended in one of the guidebooks and we weren't disappointed. They had a wide variety of beautiful jewelry at considerably lower prices than in Santa Fe. We picked up some turquoise earrings and a beautiful silver bracelet. We forgot to buy a piece of the Santa Domingo pottery, but called later and had it shipped to us. It arrived in perfect condition packed better than I've seen before. The pottery was by a well known maker at a very reasonable price. The owners were very friendly and accommodating.
