Hello Sweet Cream

I was in Santa Fe for a quick work trip...and before I left to go back home in ABQ, I remembered seeing some photos on facebook groups I subscribed to...of the homemade ice cream from this shop in Santa Fe...so I had to look up Hello Sweet Cream shop and decided to go try it before heading home!The store was very attractive and in a good location in El Dorado community. I loved that there weren't too many flavors (maybe 7-8 flavors max) and the flavors did change over time depending on ingredients in specific seasons and the timing of the year. The ice cream was handchurbed/made at the store itself..so they were very small batches at a time..how wonderful!I had a chance to try the pecan praline, blue ribbon chocolate (oh, so decadent!) and apple green chili crumble (woo~ very new mexico!). I ended up getting the latter two in the double scoop ($7.50) bowl (which came with a small waffle piece, too!). While I regretted all the calories I consumed, I didn't regret my choice to stop by and try the ice cream there! Thank you for a great ice cream to uplift my mood on my drive back home..I will try to stop by again the next time I'm in the area!

A good friend of ours here in El Dorado at Santa Fe treated us to the most delicious ice cream either of us has ever tasted. I had the pecan caramel in a waffle cone. Wow!!!! Michael has the chocolate. He is an ice cream expert. Ha!!! he said it was the best, richest chocolate ice cream he ever tasted. Highly recommend if you live in El Dorado or our listing there. What a treat!!!

Coffee ice cream lactose free with coconut milk is amazing. Owners were friendly and fun. Highly recommended

Ryan and Oliver were super friendly and offered tastes of their various flavors. I had the Green Chile Apple Crumble, which was terrific! I highly recommend this place.

This small business is a mighty presence in Eldorado...this is the probably The Best Ice cream I've ever had. Usually, the word "craft" is an embellishment, but this word exactly describes the ice cream in this establishment. From their method of cold slab production to the high quality ingredients (ie...he uses three types of chocolate for his decadent Chocolate Ribbon flavor). The ice cream is so rich and creamy; every bite needs time...you experience the unraveling of delicious flavors with just the smallest spoonfuls. His waffle cones are homemade, and his price point reflects the quality. This is hands down, way better than Lecheria...which tastes watery and weak in my opinion. I just tried his Green Chile Apple Crumble...you actually taste the green chile first, which is then followed by sweet baked apples...it was simply amazing! I have to limit my sugar intake, but sharing a cup is a great way for me to indulge every now and then.
