What more can you ask for from a free community event. Free concert, free shuttle busses for parking, and local vendors. We didn't come prepared as it was hot and sunny towards the late afternoon into the evening. A lot of people brought their gear to camp out a spot for the evening concert. There were a handful of food trucks and vendors, but there was room for more. I just moved to ABQ, so it's my first time here, but I could see it growing with more vendors since there is so much space.Did pickup a few things to support the locals.Looking forward to the next one.

Nothing better than a free event in ABQ!Last 3yrs. been outstanding as the city makes improvements to the concept, tor example enlarging the beer court area so families are welcome, more things for the kids to do and always and outstanding roster of bands. This venue offers one of the best grass areas for westerly views and sunsets!Looking forward today's Heights Summerfest 2018Photo by: COA

This is probably my favorite Summerfest location. I love the space, the grass, and the scenery. I'm glad Albuquerque does these events. What a great way to build community. I also like it that in the beer garden there was no evidence of crummy beer, everything was local and craft! My kids had a great time jumping, getting their faves painted,Rick climbing, watching the Ariel dancer, playing drums in the drum circle, and jamming to some music.

First Summerfest of 2014 started off with a bang! North Domingo Baca park was the best place to host this event. Tho, the vendors were limited, I truely enjoyed the fact that there was a line of food truck there for me to choose the different type of food I wish to try. The bands that the city of Albuquerque invited were amazing especially Le Chat Lunatique and Cherry Poppin Daddies. The grass was the perfect place to put the stage and there were tons of people swing dancing to the music! The only downside was the parking was not very well organized it seems. My husband and I opted to walk from our house but as we got close to the park, it did not seem obvious where it is a good place to park and the security just stood around and did nothing. There should have been a team there to direct parking. Other than parking, everything else was great and fun!

Cool event with local bands. Not super crowded, busy but not overrun as I expected. Nice beer garden, access controlled with wrist bands so be ready with ID. If you want to hang for a awhile, bring chairs or a blanket to park on.

Let me just start by saying Way to Go ABQ!!! Summerfest rocks!! All of the music groups were amazing but Smash Mouth really brought it tonight. Where else can you go with your family and enjoy free music, grab some swag, fill your belly, shop and hang out with thousands of your friends? Summerfest I tell ya! This is an amazing venue. There is something for every age! From the amazing park, to the rock wall attached to the racket ball courts, to a skate park you name it you can find it. There should be some more events here!! We had a blast. :)

Big bad Voodoo Daddy in ABQ for free. It was a great time even though it was super windy that night. We didn't see any of the other acts but there were plenty of food trucks and vendors and a beer garden close to the action. Parking wasn't nearly as terrible as I expected. It was good times and away from Nob Nill, finally!
