A true gem, never a bad scoop. My recent bad habit has been buying their pints and eating them at home with the raspberry jam. It is so good.Went in today to check out their fall flavors and I really enjoyed the pumpkin and the apple butter. You truly can't go wrong.

Great first experience! I came toward closing time for a quick scoop, and the customer service was something special. Greatly appreciated the friendliness of both ladies behind the counter, and they were willing to give me plenty of samples before I made my decision.Heidi's is awesome because they'll let you split a single scoop into two flavors, so I chose Brown Butter Piñon and Adobe Road. The red chile marshmallows mixed into that creamychocolate were a fun kick, and I'd love to go back to try the new Lemon Basil flavor.Cute patio with water installment and plants makes for a nice place to enjoy your cup or cone. Street parking was easy. Again, lovely employees.

We were in the mood for something sweet when I started looking for a place close to where we were or on our way home. Up pops Heidi's Ice Cream on my feed. So away we went. Located in an industrial-ish area in the front of her jam factory. Small seating area. They have a large selection of unique flavors. You can sample any. I selected the Adobe Road (their version of Rocky Road) and Earl Grey. Both were smooth in texture and flavorful. They have a nice outdoor seating area that would be perfect for a hot summer day. Limited parking but plenty of street parking available.

Nothing beats a good meal like a great dessert. Even in the low 30's it's a good day for ice cream. We find ourselves in a light industrial area looking for ice cream. We find it in front of a Jam Factory. It's open and surprisingly busy. Seems we weren't the only ice cream lovers out today. We pass a vacant porch area, everyone is inside. Plan B - get ice cream sit in the car. 2 cases 16 flavors most of which are not in my ice cream vocabulary. After some time I decide 1/2 Baklava (pieces of baklava in vanilla) & 1/2 Wild Blueberry Crème Fraiche (blueberry ribbon in thick cream) My wife opt for 1/2 Earl Grey (made with tea) & 1/2 Adobe Road (think Rocky Road without all the nuts). It was delicious, and unmistakeable fresh. If our 1/2 scoops were any indication a full scoop is huge. We left with a new favorite ice cream spot on our list.

How have I not reviewed Heidi's before? I've done them for Yelp events but not as a regular consumer, apparently.I saw their new crème fraiche blueberry on Instagram and had to try it. The mix of rich, tangy crème fraiche and sweet, juicy, blueberry swirl was so delicious! I paired it with their lemon lavender sorbet, which was beautifully tart with just the right amount of lavender. My husband also had crème fraiche blueberry but went for Adobe Road as his second scoop since rocky road is his favorite. The red chile mini marshmallows and candied pecans with that rich chocolate ice cream is fantastic. The servers are super friendly and they have both a lovely, cool interior and a nice outdoor patio with plenty of greenery.

After a fun afternoon swimming with the youngest grandson, we stopped by Heidi's ice cream. I have been meaning to stop by forever. We ordered the flight of ice cream. We got chocolate, raspberry, adobe road and lavender lemon. They were all amazing and full of flavor. The lavender lemon was super refreshing on this hot day. And of course the chocolate one had to have rainbow sprinkles for the grandson. We definetly be back to see what other new flavors to try next.

One of the only places in Albuquerque that makes their own ice cream. With the flexibility to create flavors and test them, Heidi's does not disappoint. Highly recommend getting a flight and trying as many flavors as possible.

The flavors of ice cream are very imaginative, but they do have normal vanilla and chocolate for the food conservatives in your group. Servers offer multiple ratings of different flavors. I just love their outside seating area. It's shaded but with nice interior views of plants and even a waterfall ( sometimes this is off) so you can enjoy your ice-cream forgetting that you are in a an area of most warehouses. Parking is street side so don't be fooled by the driveway and gate.
