Hakes Brothers at Mountain Hawk Estates

MOST DISHONEST COMPANY I've ever done business with. Shoddy construction as well as unethical employees. BEWARE of buying a candy bar from these people...much less a home. Drainage problems cause flooding in yard that threaten the foundation. So many things in this house don't work properly and Hakes drags their feet to fix them if they even do that. Not the kind of company you can trust.

Where do I start? Your employees know me well because of my aggressive dissatisfaction with your home. It's a piece of crap falling apart dilapidated shack. Quality luxury home? Where? I don't see it. Our tile is crap, it's placed crooked and uneven. I trip on my own damn floor. The grout is soft and not staying in place. I had to hire a guy out of my own pocket to completely redo our master shower because the grout is falling out of it even after your repair to correct it. We have cracks in the wall in the bedroom. We have had numerous issues with tile and cracked tile. The painters not only painted the walls but our carpet too. The caulking was horrible and we had to redo that. Should I continue? We had to replace the French doors because they were damaged beyond repair. The front door needs new framing around it. Our cement driveway has already cracked and been replaced. Dry wall is thinner than a piece of paper. This house is one monsoon storm of falling over

Moved into my new house a month ago now and could not be happier. The entire process from start to finish was well taken care of and explained in detail. This is not my first new home build, so I know what to look for, hired my own personal inspectors and Hakes took care of the entire punch list for me prior to moving in. Edward, my sales associate constantly kept me updated with the progress of the build and even provided pics from time to time. I am very picky, so I made sure the house was move in ready when I closed and had multiple inspections done prior to closing. The house is wonderful. The build staff was great and always available for questions. I would recommend Hakes to friends and family. You just need to be on top of things during the build and know what to look for.

Hakes brother is not a good builder. They don't take care of there warriors either and if you don't like they way they are doing the work they will leave you huge until you say ok and if you do that then you will have to pay someone else to come in and fix it right. They have left us with out are master bathroom for 2 months now and it's going on 3 months now. They will don't call us back are take are call. We got a lawyer and we are about to call the news too. This is to much.
