I came here for the first time and wasn't too thrilled but after being connected with Jimmy and Joyce I couldn't be happier. Jimmy is very professional and seems to actually care about his patients.Joyce, is also a fantastic and caring person who's always looking out for your best interest and care.I fully trust them with my healthcare, and plan on continuing with them.

Sub Zero is more like it....over medicates, uses patients for own financial gain. Out for money, prescriptions, referral fees for other agencies. If you are referred here or think of going here, think again! They do not care, will make your current situation worse. I was a professional guidance counselor for 16 years. These people scare me! My husband was a patient at a vulnerable time in his life and they only made things worse. Run, fast and far from this "one flew over the cuckoos nest" live and in color!Counseling should be short term. If you have been working with a counselor more than 6 months, they ARE NOT HELPING YOU! They are imprisoning you to believe you can't do without them!

The providers here would have their licenses pulled in any other state. This place only answers the phone 1 out of 100 times. They never return calls. They promise to call and never return a call. Even their provider line has no answer and has no ability to leave a message. The providers are guilty of malpractice, and the state of New Mexico should institute guidelines or pull the provider licenses and it is hard to understand why they haven't. An important part of patient care, particularly in the mental health field, is to be responsive to your patients. Try calling and you'll see what I mean. It is malpractice to prescribe meds that could have significant side effects - antipsychotics, antidepressants, sleep medications, anti anxiety medications - when once you're out the door, you are dead to them. This is truly a TERRIBLE place and usually the ONLY option for psychiatric care in the entire Albuquerque area. This is why they can get away with malpractice. New Mexico Board of Health - TAKE NOTE!! There is no care going on here at all!!

I've had mostly good experiences here. Jericha (spelling may be wrong) who works in the office is always a huge help when I need to make sure documentation is sent to the right people. My provider, even through the telemed format, has been great and has really worked hard to find the right combination of treatment. I am always seen within 10-20 min of my appt time, if not right on time.My only complaint is that sometimes it's been a little difficult getting paperwork filled out and sent to the right people in a timely manner, but it's an issue with both the office and the recipients, so not all the blame can rest on GP, an as I mentioned, most of the staff is really great about helping to get things rectified.

Every time that I go to Guadalupe Psychiatry they call me back to the room at least 30 minutes late, and the front desk staff are quite rude. I have tried to call them multiple times and they either never answer, or the answering machine is full. If they are supposed to be treating people with psychiatric disorders, shouldn't they be available to them and answer the phone? Very unprofessional.
