Greg's BBQ

We went here for dinner and the brisket is delicious. It seems the plate had 3 pieces of brisket, so if you want more meat I recommend the sandwich or a double plate. Our server was polite and over all it was a good experience. The spicy sauce is tasty and not hot. The place looked clean and good ambiance.

I said I wasn't going to come back for a while because last time wasn't so great and so it's been a year for me, but my kids have eaten here a few times since. They convinced me to try it again and I'm really glad I did because everything was great! Service was still a little meh but the food when it came out was awesome! Large portions and delicious! I felt like I had walked back in time to when I first discovered this place and fell in love with it! I was really impressed today with my food. Two thumbs up from me and can't wait to come back sometime...

Another SOLID meal at Greg's. I got Posole and my wife a bbq sandwich. Both were fantastic! Mackenzie took real good care of us as well! Always a great meal

We drove from Bosque Farms after reading the reviews, and wanted to try. major disappointment..Their website advertises a full bar . Not only was there not a full bar but only a handful of bottled beer yet their dining room was decorated with growlers.My date ordered the brisket platter which was basically a platter of French fries and green beans with two very small pieces of meat ( when asked about the small portion of meat the waitress said they weigh out a 1/4 lb)I ordered the hamburger and after talking one bite , sent it back. We both agreed the meat tasted old. The ever rolled her eyes at me when I requested another meal, a major turn off!We won't be back, truly was such a disappointment

The ambiance was nice. Looks like they tried to remodel the place and it looks nice. There looks to be a bar but didn't see it. The service was good. Down to earth girls. Very helpful when it came to ordering. The food was good. We were from out of town and this was recommended. I wanted the cattleman's burger but didn't realize it was 2 Pattie's, thank goodness for the waitress asking me "are you hungry!?" I was like, why in the heck is she asking me that.. it dawned on me... wait is it 2 Pattie's? She said yes.. I said oh no, she changed it to a cheeseburger w what I wanted. Fries were sooo good. Perfect fries. The sad thing though was that my co-worker ordered the Turkey sandwich which she liked but was disappointed that the Turkey was sliced deli meat. For being a bbq place, we assumed it would be thick pieces of Turkey. They need to fix that. I would recommend this place.

We both do BBQ differently. He has a great product too. Good to both be part of the Belen sit down restaurant biz rather than fast food. Greg is a really great guy you want to meet. Tom. Proprietor Hub City Brew Pub

Not so sure I would call this BBQ, we wanted to try a small local spot to support but should have saved the money as this was a big disappointment. Ordered the sampler, turkey, pulled pork X2 beans, coleslaw; then a pound of brisket and potato salad. The turkey looked and tasted like the prepackaged sliced mesquite deli turkey; pulled pork and brisket had very little "smoked" flavor. The sides were disappointing as well. The fried pickles were ok, perhaps some of the items would have tasted better if we had eaten there but smoked meat should taste like smoked meat regardless if eaten right away or 20 minutes later until we got home. I hope this was a fluke since you have pretty good reviews, but I wouldn't recommend nor will I return.

Awesome BBQ and incredible people. Love this place!Their hamburgers are freaking huge!

Finally came time to try this place that I've seen on the corner of Main & Camino del llano for some time now. First, I would like to say, I was welcomed right away and was told to wait for just a minute. As the girl left and another person came back who said hello and saw I had my dog with me, asked if I would like to be seated inside or outside. I said inside. Waitress came right over, asked if I would like something to drink. Got my favorite, sweet tea and lemonade. She gave me a few min, came back and I order an appetizer. Deep fried pickles with spicy ranch...batter is a little salty for my taste but good, portion was also big. Menu has good selection, kids menu was only 2 choices but I'm sure with the other selections they could have small portions to suit. I ordered the baked potato with butter, pork, shredded cheese, sour cream and sweet BBQ. sauce. Potato was big, lots of pork, plenty of sour cream but, not much cheese. So that was disappointing. It was tasty and the BBQ sauce has a vinegar taste which it not my favorite but, it was good. BBQ pork was good, moist and not dry and had some good fat flavor. Service was quick and efficient, price was good, place was clean, comfortable and has nice decor.

Food and service is excellent. If you are a barbacue lover it's the place..Small town and just found this place not long ago.
