This hotel is located in a great spot in this small town. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was nice and clean and the bed was super comfortable. They also have breakfast in the mornings, a pool, and a small bar/seating area with a fireplace. Don't mind the bartender as he likes to talk ALOT! lol. A good place to lay your head while either passing through town or staying for a few nights.

3.5 to 4. I was nervous about booking this hotel but the front staff is amazing. The room is a nice size clean and neat. The hotel is just a little older than I was expecting. The beds were super comfy not too hard or soft - just right and the pillows were excellent. The bathroom is clean and neat. But the toilet is too low. Located in Pinetop very close to the Woodland Lake area and near wonderful restaurants. Less then 10 miles from two of our favorites Great price we would stay here again.

For the price we paid, I didn't expect a 5 -star joint.Sure there may be a $10 resort fee, but what else would they call it, everyone is tacking on fees to make up for Covid loss. We stayed 3-4 nights.Parking was easy.Hallways reminded me of some late 70's, early 80's movie.Rooms were regular hotel rooms. Sure some may need improvements but I didn't see any bugs, other peoples hair, dirty sheets or any dust. Unfortunately the pool/hot tub/steam room were closed for a day and a half plus while we were there. That's how I pick my hotels; hot tub, free breakfast!A little bummed but I still got a few days.Laundry room was also 'out of order' but we don't do our laundry while on vacation anyway.Free breakfast.I was NOT a big fan of how they provide breakfast. The main food was served to us by a host. So you wait in line as one person at a time is served.2 of the mornings we were there, it was the same clustered, no pattern lady. She start a plate, but stop to go do something else. Idk how to describe it, other than she just couldn't multi task. Food was typical, average breakfast. The bar; It was really a nice; relaxing area. Some folks were in the corner doing computer work, someone was crocheting.. it was nice and chill. We saw a different bartender each night. We refused room service while thereBut kept the place clean and left a $40 tip.Yes, you should tip your room service gals!I liked the place & would go back again.Cool thing happened, I'm 4+ hours from home and meet a lady in the hot tub that lives right down the street from me. Small world.

I liked this hotel a lot and given the price I paid, I felt it was a very good deal as I felt like I was staying at a high-end resort. I was all set to give this place 5-stars but a few things happened toward the end of the tip that caused a downgrade to 4 stars. My partner and I pulled up to the hotel at about 7pm to check-in and when we arrived the front desk agent was outside smoking and I kind of felt like we were interrupting her. When I got up to the counter to check-in, I noticed they had us on the first floor right near the lobby, despite me requesting a second floor room. I asked the front desk agent if there was anything available on the second floor and she said no but then swapped rooms with someone who hadn't checked in yet. I really appreciated this but it lead to some confusion while checking in and on the following day as our keys mysteriously stopped working. Our room was clean and beautiful with an awesome TV, comfy bed, fridge, microwave, large chair, and plenty of outlets/USB connectors to charge devices. There was also a Keurig-like coffee maker that made really good coffee. The bathroom was also large and had some shelves to store items/towels and I really liked the shower head. Our shower leaked the first night, causing an inch of water to be on the floor. We called down and the front desk agent came and mopped it up and gave us new towels, which was nice. The hotel has a sauna, huge hot tub, and a pretty large pool, all indoor. The pool closed at 11pm, which was nice and I thought the sauna was a really cool addition that you don't typically find in hotels. There is a $9/night resort fee charged but I felt that was reasonable and I think if you join their rewards program, they waive the resort fee. The hotel also has a lobby bar, which was SUPER nice and the drinks were reasonably priced. The lady working the bar was also super cool and nice and was very sociable, which is nice to see nowadays. The breakfast was very minimal and since I'm a vegetarian that doesn't eat eggs, I couldn't really partake. Both days we were there they served biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, and sausage. It wasn't the typical buffet style, there were workers serving it to you. I kind of liked this because it felt more sanitary and allowed for social distancing and whatnot. Like I said before, I was all set to give this place 5-stars but on the last day I called down and asked for a late checkout. They said we could stay until 11:30 but at 11:10am I got a somewhat nasty call from the general manager. I answered and she said, "Hi, this is the general manager, checkout was at 11." It was in a somewhat accusatory, nasty voice and when I explained that we were approved for an 11:30am checkout she spun it and tried to say she was just checking in. No apology or nothing so I felt that was kind of rude and it left a bad taste in my mouth. Other than that and the first person we dealt with when we checked in, the rest of the staff was super nice, especially the women working the breakfast. I would stay here again and plan to next time I visit Pinetop.

First time stay at Green Tree Inn in Pinetop, AZ. Large room, clean, comfortable bed, easy parking, free breakfast and friendly staff. Room has nice work area, large TV, good WIFI, microwave, fridge and Keurig coffee maker. Price was reasonable. There is an added $5 fee for "ammenities." They have a large indoor pool, sauna and fitness center. Had some issues with keyless lock several times but that sometimes happens. Room has under window heating and cooling unit. Worked well but may be loud for light sleepers. I usually turn that type of unit off after heating or cooling a room. Plenty of outlets for electronics. Free newspaper and cookies for your night cap. Was at Hotel for two nights. Will be here again for several days. All in all a very pleasant stay.

Stayed here last week. Very disappointed in this hotel! Found hairs in my bed. When tried to call front desk, phone line was busy. When I went to desk to ask for sheets to be changed, desk gal was watching tv on her cell phone. I was told they didn't have any house keeping. Instead they changed our room. When I told her I wanted to check the room, I was told she couldn't let me go and trash the room. Very rude remark and unbelievable that this place is still in business. Do not stay here!

Would rate zero stars if possible! The WORST guest services reps all around from check in, to morning breakfast attendant and "Assistant managers". They will talk over you and laugh at your requests and accommodations. ANN AND LISA ARE horrible!

Stayed here for a weekend. The room was very nice, the price was reasonable, the breakfast was good, service was efficient and friendly. It's located in the middle of town, near restaurants and shops. The hotel has a bar, an indoor pool and hot tub, and a washer/dryer room, which was convenient and clean.

Room was old with peeling wall paper and dirty carpet. Also, the noisiest hotel I have ever stayed in. Breakfast consisted of watery eggs. They also charge a 10/night resort fee. This is not a resort. Pool was not usable during my stay and I was told the laundry wasn't getting fixed--apparently ever.
