Stopped in for lunch and wasn't disappointed. Full house at lunch but got seated right away. We had the Fish and Chips and the Korean Chicken sandwich with a side of New England Clam Chowder. Bam they were all great. The chowder and fish and chips are only available on Fridays. If you're in the east mountains give this place a try. You won't regret it.

I should have taken a picture.. I was honestly disappointed by the portions this last time we went. My husband and I got the peanut noddles with tofu we got extra tofu on one. The dish is $14 something and then $3 something for the tofu. Again wishing I had taken a photo.. But the one with regular tofu barely had any and the one with extra was still meager at best.. and for being charged 9 dollars for tofu when I can by a hole block myself for $2 is ridiculous... Our server was great nothing on him, he did a wonderful job. But for the price and what we got it was not worth it.. I don't know if we will be back anytime soon..

The ambiance is nice. Pleasant, clean, not pretentious. Both food and service have been hit or miss in the last few years. Locals talk as though it has been excellent and has declined. My own experience is back and forth. Pleasant enough service. Sometimes good. Sometimes absentee. Sometimes things missing. Food is similar. The chef has down well and the menu looks good but the cook... sometimes good, sometimes grossly underdone, sometimes just sloppy.I also find it difficult to catch them open. Their hours are never what I expect. My interpretation of all of this is that someone has excellent ideas but that the daily management is struggling. I can't guess why although rumors abound.So... if you're in a gambling mood, try them. They could easily get their business together in short order. I hope they do.

Greeted by Eric, how very helpful. Restaurant was very crowed but let us sit at a high top and changed the tv to the football game we wanted. Very helpful. Hubby had a Bloody Mary and said it was outstanding. The Korean chicken sandwich with slaw was juicy, crunchy and delicious. The huevos rancheros with chicken fried steak and eggs Xmas style was perfect. Support local all the way

Amazing place. My boyfriend and I ate here for dinner while visiting Sandia Crest on a roadtrip. Staff was so courteous and seemed to genuinely enjoy working with each other. Very refreshing atmosphere. Food was amazing. We shared are meals with each other and both were amazing. I ordered the Sangre De Cristo with delicious berry sauce on the side, and he ordered the Korean Chicken sandwich with kimchi slaw. Both were flavorful. The crunch on the chicken was AMAZING and perfection. Batter was not greasy or soggy. I don't think even so called "chicken only" places have perfected the fried batter like this place has! Regular fries as well and sweet potato fries were also perfectly crisp on the outside while being soft in the middle, both with great flavor. Highly recommend this place. Also: one of the waitresses is an artist and her wildlife paintings are for sale and on display on the walls. I happened to sit right next to a beautiful piece and I bought it before leaving. Will make a beautiful souvenir!

What a great recommendation! Went to Tinkertown museum (I have a review on that too) asked for a place to have a nice lunch. The girl told me a few places but, said this was the place to go. Very glad I did.!!!Yummy food, nice customer service and of course...beautiful view. Will definitely go again!

I went last night with my daughter and we got the worst service ever. Not even friendly staff. It took a little over an hour to get our food out because they served our food at the wrong table and after our order got out they didn't even get the plate well put together after a whole hour of waiting my daughter was still missing her rice on her plate. During that whole hour they barely came back to check up on us not even to ask us if we want more water or anything. It's very disappointing because my daughter always gets takeout from here and we never dined in and that's the first experience we got from the place dining in. Now it doesn't wanna make my daughter get takeout from here anymore because even the last time she got takeout the rice was very hard.

We love the Greenside. Always have, despite the fact that it's recently had some serious topsy-turvyness. The transition with the change in ownership seemed to have created some problems for a bit but I think it's finding its way back to its old self. We went for Sunday brunch yesterday and it was as good as ever (yay Sandia Toast!!). I think several of the bad reviews may have been from a period where they brought in a chef who didn't work out and is now gone. They're still working with their regular, solid menu. We're hoping for some potential fun new changes in the future as well... Keep on keeping on, Greenside!!

We've been eating at The Greenside for over a decade. But we won't be going back anymore. The food has gotten progressively worse. The restaurant always has a vague smell of sewage except for the last time we went and it smelled so strong - the host told us a lot of staff were out sick with a stomach bug and he had just had it too. We marched right back out. GROSS!! The last time we actually ate there, I found a big chunk of avocado skin in my guacamole and the food was bland. The specials are just terrible now. Very subpar compared to what it used to be. Well it was a good run but I don't see The Greenside surviving this new ownership/management. It's too expensive to be this bad.
