Best training around. Period. Kids classes are the main reason we come by but that is only because of my work schedule, otherwise we would always be here. Supportive and caring staff that are always there for you. It's been too long!

So happy to have found my newest favorite hobby at Gracie Barra! I have been to two classes and each class has offered me training on a personal and group level while getting to know bjj. I've never done this before so I was, and still kind of am, uneasy because I'm not confident in what I'm doing yet. I can see myself starting to get more confident already! I have felt welcome every time and even like family. I'm excited for the many classes to come!

When the most accomplished American female in jiu jitsu history opens up a school nearby, you have to try it! That being said, Professor Tammy is friendly, knowledgeable, and easy going, but she's also proven herself among the very best in the world. Los Lunas is lucky to have such an amazing gym in town. If I lived closer, I'd definitely be here full time.

If you are looking for some great jiu-jitsu training this is the school for you. I have been coming here for a little over a year now. Both me and my son train here, they have various classes throughout the week to fit almost anyones schedule. This is a great place for children to grow, they build confidence and they learn respect, discipline, and how to manage other aspects of theirs lives. Since my son started BJJ he has really come out of his shell. This is a great place if you are looking to learn some really cool jiu-jitsu while getting a great workout. Everyone at this school is really awesome we are like a big family, the professor and her team of coaches always aim to make everyone feel welcomed and a part of the school. This is by far the hardest most rewarding journey that I have taken on. If you are an individual that likes a challenge then this is for you. The classes are never the same, you are constantly learning something new. Prices are similar to what you pay for a typical mixed martial arts class for example kickboxing, or Judo, but here you will get a mixture of both kickboxing and Judo all specialized in the art of jiu-jitsu, in one place. It is very kid friendly, for those individuals that have kids and want to train, your kids are always welcomed and they don't charge you a fee for having your kids there, like most gyms/athletics clubs do so long your kids are age appropriate and can manage on their own for an hour. Overall this is a great place for people looking for something other than the typical gym, not only do you get a great workout every time but you are also learning some valuable stuff, and no one can take away your knowledge. If you are thinking of joining or want to try a class before committing, the gym does offer a free class or free week, I am not sure about the free week but you can always call in and inquire. Overall a great training place to become the best and train with the best!

Gracie Barra Los Lunas has charged me for several months; after requesting cancellation in Januaryfor my seven year old son. He loved his time at GB LL. My family has been overcharged more than $800, as of August 8, 2024, I am still being charged. I have tried to contact their phone number, email, etc. NO RESPONSE

I would never recommend Gracie Barra Los Lunas ran by Tammy Griego. She has overcharged my account over $1,350.00. Automatic payments were always inconsistent. I was once charged 5 times in one single month. After signing out from the gym I was still charged for several consecutive months. When brought to Tammy's attention she ignored the matter as well as continued to charge my account, which forced me to have to change my card number through my bank. When reaching out to Gracie Barra Albuquerque, I was informed that Tammy was no longer affiliated Gracie Barra and hasn't been for several months. With no permission to advertise or charge under the Gracie Barra name. I still not have heard back from Tammy after several attempts to contact her. She is well aware of the overcharge and continues to ignore the situation.

My daughter signed up for jiu Jitsu last year. The contract is 1 year. She loved it. Unfortunately, we did not sign up for another year contract because we are not happy with Gracie Barra. There was never any communication on events, uniforms, etc. They communicate things through a social media but not everything. I felt like we were never in the loop. Jiu Jitsu is way too expensive to be so unorganized. I wish them luck for the future.
