Goodwill Industries of New Mexico - Rio Rancho

First I am a hard core thrifter and have been to every Goodwill in Albuquerque (including the clearance center) and the one in Santa Fe near Meow Wolf. So have a lot of experience with them!For some reason every time I go in this location I find at least one treasure. Before virus hit I purchased two Shell Lamps at 9.99 each. including shades. When I went home I looked up and they are Safavieh and sell for $80 more or less EACH. Wow and they are gorgeous in our bedroom. Also purchased a "yard art" metal item - 5.99. If you went to some where like Jackalope I guarantee it would be minimum $100. Like all thrift stores inventory moves quickly so if you love it and are "thinking about it" go for it and grab it.Also note the staff here are exceptional. So very nice. This is a non profit so please make sure you are super nice to the folks!

Used and new clothes, knick knacks, furniture etc. a well kept and clean location. I've been to other locations in Albuquerque, and albeit this one is small, it is much cleaner than a couple others. I find this to be a good location when finding costumes for Yelp events, my annual Beerstein festival, and other events. I also find it to be great when wanting nice clothes, including name brands but rather than getting "swindled and pimped" at $60 for those jeans, I get them for $5. Plus, Macklemore likes to go thrift shopping. I'm gonna pop some tags, only got twenty dollars in my pocket and at Goodwill I can spend all that. R Kelly sheets, I doubt they have them, but they do have your grandad's clothes.

This is a great location, and the site itself is usually really clean and organized. One of the best goodwills in the Alb and surrounding areas. One of the best attributes is they have a training center and computers with internet and printer access if you are in need of finding employment, they really help people a lot finding jobs. Goodwill is a great concept, and it's great to help support their cause. And on Mondays there is a discount for every purchase. Staff is always friendly and helpful too

They had some beautiful Day of the Dead masks. Lots of fun witches hats. All new. Three racks of Halloween costumes . Check out is fast and pleasant. Bring cash - they have to charge the surcharge that credit cards charge.

This is a very clean store, with inventory looking on the lower side. I asked if they were in need of Donations and she said they had plenty. When asking if they offer sales, the only sales being offered through Goodwill is when you sign up with email for a monthly Calendar and it will show any promotions. She did say they really have dialed back on that. The prices are just too high for a Thrift Store, we all feel that way. The lady next to me said that some of the prices were higher than retail. The fitting rooms were closed. They have a week return Policy. Elizabeth answered my questions and did a good job with that.

This store was closed for two months due to covid19 and one would think that would be the perfect time to clean it. Guess not. This is the dirtiest store I've been in in a while. Disappointing. Please mop weekly and clean the restrooms while yur at it. One in Bernalillo is way better.Good selection of books and DVD's, though.

This has got to be the dirtiest most disorganized Goodwill I have ever been in. There are items in the kitchen area that have food all over them there our kitchen items over by the shoes there was throw up on a cushion on the couches, there is no rhyme or reason to anything it's like someone went to the landfill and dumped it all inside the store. Not to mention the out rages prices I mean seriously? All this crap is donated to you. I was going to buy a lid to go to the pot that I just purchased. As I walked out the door I noticed that the glass lid had a chip and a crack in it certain disaster once the heat hits it. I took it back in to show them and they said final sale I said you got to be kidding me this will be a disaster if the heat hits it they said sorry that's goodwill's policy. On my business and donations will go to savers from now on.

A good example of how to operate a good store with great customers and friendly employees to boot!

Good selection, the staff here is among the bets at all Goodwill, they keep the lines short by ringing you up quickly. They have a good variety and decent prices.
