Mighty House The Garcia Opera house was built in 1884 (completed in 1887) as an homage to local businessman Juan Garcia by his widow, Francesca Garcia. Oddly enough, despite the name, there is no record of an opera ever being performed there, only mostly theater productions, weddings, and musicians. It is currently registered in the National Register of Historic Sites (https://shorturl.at/gQV37).We attended the '23 Crane Festival Arts & Crafts Fair inside and dug the vibe of the place. It isn't much to look at from the outside but really cool inside--especially the slanted "rake" stage. The parking lot is fairly large, and there's also additional street parking.
