I recently leased a 2024 Honda CRV Hybrid. Gary Sanchez was the sales person that worked with me. He was courteous, professional and took the time to help me customize some of the features. This was my first experience with this dealership so I'm not ready to give a rating but I thought Gary did a credible job.

I wish I didn't have to write this but Garcia Honda is one of the biggest scumbag stealerships to ever exist. These bastards pretend to be charging msrp for a civic type R but force you to buy a wing accessory. I thought to myself, that's fine since Honda's msrp is $2250. They said the installed price was over $3100 and I was like huh, that sounds a bit expensive for labor. In fact, it comes out to $875 in labor so I'm like okay, I don't want it installed. They were like nope, even if you don't have it installed, we are still charging you $875 for labor even if we don't install it. That's an immediate red flag and I sleep on it. I thought ok, I'll ask them to throw in tint since I'm being charged for a job that isn't being performed. Well, you all know how car stealerships are, and at the mere thought of them "doing me a favor", the scumbag general sales manager Mike kills the deal. Mike is a real piece of work and I warned him he'd be going on blast and he said and I quote "go ahead, I don't give af".Mike, if you're reading this, here you go, hope you enjoy it.

2/13/25 Garcia Honda8301 Lomas Blvd NEAlbuquerque, NM 87110 Subject: Unprofessional and Deceptive Business Practices at Garcia HondaTo Whom It May Concern,I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction and frustration with my recent experience at Garcia Honda, an establishment that has yet again proven itself to be a deceptive and untrustworthy dealership. My most recent encounter with your dealership has cemented my decision to never do business with you again, and I urge other consumers to proceed with extreme caution before setting foot on your lot.I contacted your dealership through your online representative, Sharrise D., to schedule an appointment to test drive the new 2025 Honda Civic Type R in Sonic Grey Pearl (VIN: JHMFL5G43SX002759). Sharrise was courteous and professional, assuring me that the vehicle was not only available on the lot but also for sale with no pending transactions. Based on this confirmation, I scheduled a visit, expecting to test drive the vehicle as any serious buyer would.Shortly after, I received a call from Mike, who not only contradicted what I had been told but did so with an appalling level of rudeness. He dismissively informed me that Garcia Honda does not allow test drives for Type R models and that the specific vehicle in question had already been sold--two completely different pieces of information from what Sharrise had provided. His abrasive and condescending tone was unprofessional and utterly unacceptable. It is disgraceful for a business to mislead potential customers, waste their time, and then treat them with outright disrespect. This is not my first encounter with Garcia Honda's incompetence. Approximately a decade ago, I purchased a brand-new Honda Civic Si from your dealership, only to discover an alignment issue. When I brought the issue to your service center's attention, I was met with one of the most ludicrous excuses I have ever heard: I was told that "all New Mexico roads slope to the side," which was supposedly the reason my car consistently drifted. Instead of addressing a legitimate concern under warranty, your service department chose to insult my intelligence. And speaking of warranties, Garcia Honda's warranty department operates like a pack of bloodthirsty vampires, prioritizing evasion and denial over customer satisfaction and service. Rather than honoring the obligations of a vehicle warranty, your team seems committed to finding every loophole and excuse to avoid assisting customers, leaving them high and dry with unresolved issues and empty promises.I made it explicitly clear to Mike that I will never again do business with Garcia Honda, and I stand by that decision. This dealership thrives on misinformation, discourtesy, and a blatant disregard for customer satisfaction. I strongly encourage anyone considering Garcia Honda to think twice before trusting their hard-earned money to such an unethical and unreliable establishment. Sincerely,Chris

horrible experience, bought a car from them recently and had the water pump fail. conveniently about two weeks after the extended warranty expired the water pump failed. they did not use a OEM part and did not tell me or ask if they can use a non-OEM part. this was also the second water pump in less than two years. Long story short they were rude and would not do anything about it. Basically said oh well.

Well, for starters, it would be nice to talk to somebody. That was a little compassionate and understanding. I think everybody knows the times that we are in right now and every little thing counts. It all started when I purchased my 2018 Jeep grand Cherokee, which those are very expensive. So you know the deal they promised you, the moon do and say whatever it takes to make the customer happy until. The purchase is finalized and they have their money. It started with me having this Jeep for less than two months and noticed that the water pump was failing so I had to set up a time take the car there figure out how to get home. You know the inconvenience a person goes through when there is an issue with your car and you have to take it to the dealer. So after all that they did replace the water pump, but here is the huge butt normally and what I was told is that if possible, they would use OEM parts for anything that needs to be fixed with the vehicle. Well, their first excuse was well it's not a Honda. It's a jeep and you purchased it here at Garcia Honda. well, I don't think that should matter but anyway They ended up replacing the water pump with a non-OEM part now mind you that the Jeep dealer is directly across the street from Garcia Honda so in my eyes, there is no reason why they could have not using an OEM water pump. So here we are to present time which has been about of a year And noticed that I had a water leak and had it diagnosed as a failing water pump again. So I proceeded to call Garcia Honda and explain to them what was happening and the long story short is basically "" oh well, your warranty expired now mind you the extended warranty that I paid for And had to pay a $100 deductible for the first water pump and now the second water pump has failed and they again basically said oh well, not my problem so very rude very condescending. Transfer me to many people got many excuses and the outcome was they were not going to cover it so $600 later I ended up putting a new water pump in now mind you that it should have been covered anybody knows that if you were to use an OEM part 95% of the time you will not have any issues with using an OEM part. So my biggest and main concern with this whole issue is that if they would have used an OEM part and it failed then I would be totally understanding and taken care of it myself but because they did not use an OEM part and did not ask me if they could use an OEM part I think that They Should be responsible for it but again everybody I talk to basically just washes their hands from it does not want to help me does not want to take care of it does not want a happy customer probably because I did not purchase a Honda from them. I purchased a jeep

Just wanted to give a shout out to the guys at Garcia Honda. I've been dealing with perfection Honda who literally couldn't care about my car wouldn't get me an emergency appointment and basically told me tough shi*. That's another review, but I called up Garcia Honda and the woman who answered the phone was a pleasure to work with and assured me that they could get my vehicle in that same day a couple hours later. It desperately needed a part replaced, they helped handle everything right down to dealing with the extended warranty process. They checked my car thoroughly and replaced the valve throwing on my emissions light. Even called me the next day to make sure everything was okay. I will only be going back to them for my odyssey from now on.

I went to see pricing on a 2024 civic and got told they weren't going to provide pricing due to me going to other dealerships when I asked Steve to speak to someone in charge he handed me a card in the most condescending way possible and told me he's the one in charge I don't believe in this type of business model or lack of transparency for that I will no longer take in my car for servicing nor purchase anything from this dealership P.s. Steve also informed me that his higher ups were ok with this form of conducting business!!! IF THIS IS THE WAY BUSINESS IS CONDUCTED HERE STAY AWAY THERE ARE PLENTY OF OTHER DEALERS WILLING TO HELP YOU

Worst service experience. Brought my vehicle in for a diagnosis. Battery was working completely fine. Now three days later after they told me, they'll have my vehicle back that same day, they still don't know what's wrong, they're not able to give me a loaner vehicle, they say they need to keep my vehicle longer, but they don't know how long and now the battery is failing all of a sudden so now in order to even take my vehicle, I need to pay them 380 bucks. Talked to the manager, Mike McKinnon. He said that I didn't buy the car from them. So this is the service I will get. But conveniently he did suggest that I could get a new car from them. My vehicle is 10 years old. Only 110k miles. The other option they said is, they'll leave my car on the street and I can figure it out on my own. That's my only other option. Don't trust these crooks.
