I purchased a ring from here that was very beautiful and they even sized it for me for free. It was a $60 ring that I wanted to last I took it off every night but the gem broke off within the first month I plan to send it in to fix it. The reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is the fact that I bought another ring for half the price in SanFrancisco and have had it for over 6 months now with no damage.

Super nice staff. I got a Native American Bear, which will protect me (Meaning of the bear). I looked at other stores, but none of the bears compared to the one at Gallery 8. Definitely come in and check out their items. They have mini bios of the artists and it's a really fun place to see what kind of pottery they have to offer. They also carry jewelry, especially the famous New Mexico turquoise. They back them up with warranty and certify that they are authentic. Sometimes buying turquoise on the street, you can't be so sure of their quality and their is no guarantees backed with the ones you purchase. Key Facts:10 am to 7 pm everyday.Exclusive to 3 specific Native Americans Artists that sell their work here.50% off during peak seasons - summer & balloon festival.Verdict: 4.7 out of 5.0

I was at Old Town around 6:30pm, and many stores were already closed. Although Gallery 8 had their hours in the window listed as open until 6, their doors were wide open and they welcomed me in with a smile, explaining that the posted hours were their winter hours. The store was filled with pottery and jewelry cases without feeling cramped or packed. It was a friendly atmosphere to browse, made even friendlier by the salesman offering me a drink while I shopped. I don't think *that* has happened to me anywhere before! I asked to see a pair of earrings but talked myself out of them because they were too much like other earrings I owned. I kept conversation flowing with the owner about what I liked and didn't like, and he showed me several other pieces that matched what I wanted. When I wasn't more sold on any of those, he pulled out several boxes of backstock earrings and let me flip through them. Then he had a brainstorm and pointed out a pair of earrings that had been on display all along, which I loved. When I was nearly sold on those, he showed me the same style with a slightly different stone, and I loved them even more. Sold! The store had signs in a few places advertising that everything was 50% off its marked regular price. The sales guy was nice and gave me an extra few bucks off. We had a pleasant chat and it was truly the nicest shopping experience I've had in a long while. As I shopped around Old Town more, I saw similar earrings for cheaper, but I didn't think the quality matched what I bought from Gallery 8. For what it's worth, Gallery 8 also promised a "lifetime warranty" on my earrings, even an exchange if I decided I wanted something better. Bet the cheaper jewelry stores wouldn't do that!

If you are in Old Town, I would definitely recommend checking out Gallery 8. They have an assortment of necklaces, rings and bracelets at decent prices. My aunt found a bangle she really liked. Angela helped us and she's awesome. She even gave us a dinner recommendation!

So glad we found G8! The staff was very friendly and very knowledgable about all the items in the store. Customer service was at it's best here! Love the variety of jewelry and artifacts from the local Indians. There is a 2nd store, Galleria Azul, that you can go back and forth too, which just enhances your shopping experience. Stop by, get a cold drone and I'm sure you will find something to take home.

We bought rings in celebration of our 45th anniversary in 2011 and returned home to Wisconsin. We've returned each twice, once for re-sizing, once for replacing stones. Both times we had our rings back in about a week. When these people say "guaranteed for life" they mean it. This is probably the best customer service we have ever received.

Avoid. Do not buy jewelry without consulting someone who knows how to identify true Native American jewelry.

First day exploring this amazing city and I was fortunate enough to stumble into Gallery 8. Beautiful things. But more importantly a wonderful man named Nael offered me a bottle of water. When I said I was just passing thru, he offered sincerely. Honestly, I was parched. A moment of kindness I'll remember.

Bought a few things from them in March of 2016, including a ring. Not sure how it happened, but about a year later, I looked at my ring one day and noticed it was a little bent with a stone missing. Called them and then mailed the ring to them after receiving their courteous advice. In a short time, I received the ring back in pristine shape. Lifetime warranty, and they walk the walk!! Thank you VERY much!

While visiting Los Lunas this past Christmas (2011), we naturally took the whole clan to Old Town to shop and visit one of our favorite places, Gallery8. If you are looking for quality jewlery that is backed up by a lifetime guarantee, Gallery8 is where We love to go. During our first visit in 2009, my husband bought me a beautiful Australian opal ring. I have received many compliments on my ring. This time around we found the perfect man's ring made with the same Australian opal. From the friendly atmosphere and quality merchandise, you won't be disappointed by Gallery8!!! We look forward to our next trip.Happy & Returning CustomersHouston, Texas
