Hands down THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER received. Whoever in the world Betty is that works at this location needs to learn better phone etiquette. I swear getting the furniture and for them to get a sale was a PEICE OF CAKE, Of course. But as soon as it comes to "delivery" it's an issue and more of a hassle than anything. They do NOT communicate with each other. Not sure if they need a better NOTE ADDING SYSTEM. Or what the issue is. But the fact that I got an attitude for trying to get MY FURNITURE. Is NOT okay. Pretty sure I didn't even get transferred to the "manager" Hopefully this place learns how to communicate with the people that are creating their pay checks! Haven't got my furniture yet--hopefully it's not altered with any way! Will be updating this post!!!!Update: I got the wrong bedroom set and they made me feel very very unsettled--saying I got the right one when I KNOW which one I chose and which one I was willing to pay money on. This place is just AWEFUL!! No just that be careful with the whole "no interest for so so months--it's a lie. It's only for three months and if you don't pay it within the three month that your interest rate will sky rocket by 23-30% meaning if you get a 2k amount. Don't pay within 3 months. It can go up to 7-8k WATCH OUT FOR THAT!

They sold me a table and was told that the leaf would come with it. Day of delivery I called asking for it because it wasn't delivered with the table. Was told I would get a phone call back and still haven't received one, more than two weeks later. Tried to call yesterday and it goes straight to voicemail when I call from my phone, but went through when I called from my husbands phone. Was told I'd get a phone call before 5pm yesterday and NEVER got a call. Just want to know what the resolution is instead of keeping me in the dark. VERY unprofessional, they're moving the the west side of town, I'd highly suggest staying away from them.

Bought some furniture pieces from ve location at Coronado Mall. We had to keep calling after a month for updates. All they could say is they didn't have control over how long it took to come when at times of purchase they said 2-3 weeks. Now almost a month an half they don't have control. If they have the furniture there in stock buy it. If not don't. Not worth the hassle. And you call and they are not even sympathetic they get upset your not patient when they are the ones under delivering. 3/10 update. Called for the fourth time. And was told they would ask a manager and even took my number a lady named Marcia. And it's the 15th and not a call or anything. 03/16 my husband rec a call to pick up the item finally. They sent to a different location where he didn't buy the piece but he went. Then when he got there that it wasn't there it was at the place he purchased it. He waited over 20 min to find that out. I can tell you from this experience DO NOT purchased with these people. Not only do they not keep to their promise but their customer service is horrible.

I purchased a makeup vanity fromFurniture City in Albuquerque. TheSalesman Kevin stated it was in stockand proceeded to draw the paperworkand take payment. He then left for a fewminutes and returned tell me the itemwas not in stock and could expect it tobe shipped 2-5 weeks. I ordered theitem December 12. My credit card wascharged immediately even though theitem was on back order. I amaccustomed to being charged once theitem is received, as that is whatbusinesses I have dealt with in the pasthas done. This was a 1600.00 vanity.The item did not arrive in 5 weeks. I hadto call the store at the 7 week mark sinceI did not receive a call from them for anyupdates. I called and asked to speak to amanager. I was placed on hold for 10minutes and then hung up on. I calledback and spoke to a manager Florentina.Instead of any apologies this womanproceeded to berate me when I wastrying to explain what had happened and my dissatisfaction with thecustomer service and themisrepresentation/ lack of call from thestore with updates of the entiretransaction. I asked for a discount andshe flatly told me no because the itemwas already discounted 15% when Ipurchased it. She said there was nothingshe could do for me. It was not amisrepresentation at all Kevin clearlylied to us to make a sale. She eventhreatened to place notes in my file forthe other managers to read becauseafter my frustration of not gettinganywhere with this woman I had tothreaten to file a complaint with theState Consumer Board and the BBB, aswell as writing reviews on Yelp etc.Florentina after arguing with her for 10minutes stated she would call me back in 20 minutes so she could discuss this with her managers to determine if I was the one being unreasonable. I had to call her back and her offer was a 100.00 off and free delivery. She also stated the item would then be in by end of February. The next day I received a call from her stating that the vanity would not be in until the end of March. I called back and spoke to another manager Alicia who was very professional and apologized for over promising and under delivering. I canceled the order and was fully refunded. Alicia asked that I consider giving the business another chance when shopping inthe future, asking specifically for her totake care of our needs. I am writing thisreview so that if you choose to dobusiness with them you are very awareof the salesperson tactics and do notsign any paperwork unless it is clearly instock and available that day. If I haddone in store financing I would havepaid monthly payments and interest onan item that maybe would have arrived3.5 months later, and possibly longer.Iplaced it on my credit card and paid itwithin 2 weeks or I also would havebeen making payments and interestaccrued on an item I had not received. Ifyou do decide to give them yourbusiness my advice is to ask for Alishaand don't buy unless it is in stock. I will never give them my business again because my experience is not isolated based on their reviews on Yelp. The isolated 4/5 star reviews I suspect are planted reviews to boost their rating on yelp. Too many horrific experiences similar to mine. I absolutely do not recommend Furniture City. I purchased the same vanity in white instead of grey from American Furniture for exactly half the cost. It was in stock and I picked it up on the same day.

I am still in disbelief. This people sold us a "6pcs bedroom set" for our daughter and we just found out, the headboard, the footboard and the rails were counted separately. Are you kidding? That's the bed, itself. So pretty much, the whole set is 3 pcs: 1) Bed, 2) Dresser, 3) Nightstand. I am beyond disappointed and I really wish we did some more research before purchasing from this people.

Furniture City just recently (Nov 2019) opened a new location in Coronado Mall. I moved to Albuquerque a few months ago and I bought a dining table set from them. Kevin, the salesman that helped me was located in another store (3821 Menaul Blvd) but was transferred here and I followed him because I received a good deal and nice attention from him. This location closes at 9pm, the other one I've visited closes at 8pm.

Don't purchase from this place we went and bought 2 couches had them delivered and the gave us a display. The couch was delivered with makeup, missing buttons, broken legs. We were so upset went into the store next day to see that in fact was a display. Asked to speak with manager he never came out. Spoke to young lady and offered $100 store credit which is nothing compared to wait we paid for a BRAND NEW couch. I will never return to this store.

DO NOT SHOP AT HOME LIFE. I have given this store plenty of business. This last experience I put $500 down on bedroom furniture (cheap particle board) and I changed my mind because I found high quality bedroom set at Furniture 42 (which I highly recommend). They refused to cancel my order after telling them in person, phone call, and text message. Tom has no professionalism, or respect for prospective customers. He is a first hand crook!

Do not shop here!!!!! I purchased furniture (paid in full) on September 5th 2022. I did not hear anything for 6 weeks at 8 weeks I called them. They said it was an issue with waiting on a ship. So I waited I finally got it on December 5th I was so excited. I was promised that they would help us move our old furniture out because neither my husband or I can move furniture ourselves. When the two men came. I told them how excited I was and happy that they were there. They looked at me like I was an idiot. I reminded them that they needed to move my old furniture out to our garage and to the street for one of the pieces. One of the gentleman dragged the pieces across my house and out of the house no lifting anything up off of the ground. Because of this the piece going out on the street started falling apart so by the time he got it to the street it was in pieces. I have never had anyone be so rude in my life I felt such anger from this person. I believe this is his job delivering furniture right? By the way I still tipped him because I had planned on it. He looked at the money like I had handed him a dirty diaper. Later... More to come. I decided I would like a matching piece with the set I had purchased. I called and asked what they could do for me and was told that the night stand that had been 349.00 when I had made my original purchase was now going to cost me $600.00 to complete my set. They knew I wanted everything to match and tried to get me to pay up for that fact. Instead my sweet husband was robbed by going down and buying the piece for me. They then charged $100.00 for delivery. Did I mention it is a night stand and we live within 5 miles of the store. These people have nice pieces of furniture but have not grace or class.Don't shop here and get taken advantage of.
