Frontier Mart

I like to get coffee at the frontier mart in the mornings- $2.15 for a large coffee and it is pretty quality. I also really enjoy their burritos which are made fresh daily! The guy that works there is super nice and helpful. They have great booze options and some products I can only get at the farmers market which is definitely a plus!My real compliant is the price gouging on certain products!

Went in to try out the food that they have at the counter. Got two tamales one green chili chicken one traditional red chili pork. The red was better and more flavorful, but too salty, the green lacked flavor and spice.

Great convenience store in the heart of Corrales -- all of the normal convenience store stuff plus local artist cards, local author books, wine, beer, alcohol, a few veggies. The tamales in the crockpot are good!

Love this small, local "mart" located in the heart of Corrales. They have everything you would expect at a convenience store--lottery tickets, snacks, drinks. But what sets this place apart is its large, amazing wine selection.

Beware of the owners of this place. They bought Frontier Mart and The Merc in Placitas back during COVID around 2020. They looted the inventory from The Merc so there was less and less stuff over time and it eventually closed. They didn't pay unemployment to the people who lost their jobs when it closed. They will probably end up doing the same thing to the frontier mart.

I love this place. I've been coming here for years now and to have a new kitchen in it is amazing! They have tacos, burrtios, quesdiallas and burgers. They have the option of red and green chile. The friendly cashier who's always there in the mornings when I go told me that neither are that hot and their not but they do have bomb flavor. The green salsa the cook makes when you get tacos is either hot or mild but it has so much flavor that I'm always content with what I get. I'll continue to go back just for the food they now serve.

This review is about the new food kitchen they sell burritos, tacos, burgers...Biggest complaint: no salt. No garlic. Bland. Bland. Bland. Salsa has zero flavor. Just green. Again, no garlic. No salt. Otherwise it's nice to have the mini-kitchen here but the cook doesn't really know how to flavor the food she makes.

Beware because many products have no price, I got Sarah Lee Bread and the cashier charged me $ 7.78, I was ready to throw the bread on the counter when the cashier said: I was charging you for two Sarah Lee bread, but I feel any way it was weird and unprofessional. They should put a price on every item but the action of this guy I did not like it.

Convenient for sure, enjoy stopping in for some items. Often stop in for food for my kids. The new cooked food idea is great. I just wish the cook would drain the beef . I've ordered burritos with beef and have been disgusted by the amount of grease in the burrito. Very elementary to drain the grease after cooking beef. Needs improvement .
