I Was invited As part of a Yelp elite event. Free head shots brought me in! Joshua did a great job and I am looking forward to getting them by email. We were given a very nice tour of the facility. I can see that it is a work in progress and believe it is going to be an extremely great place for those who need space. they provide private offices for rent, big rooms for classes or lectures, and small meeting rooms. I already have an idea how I can utilize the space. There are some fantastic features from when the place was built over a 100 years ago. Let's See this place grow.

Free Range? I had seen the sign on Central, but just assumed that it was a healthy chicken restaurant. Once again, it is all in the name / logo / marketing. Don't assume just because it makes perfect sense to you, that the other 99% of us dense folks will know exactly what you meant. And, no, this business has absolutely nothing to do with fowl of any kind that I can discern. It is actually a great Co-Working Space.I stopped in to Free Range for an event that was happening there. While I was there, I asked to have a tour of the space. They were surprised, but very accommodating. I was surprised at how large a space it is and how many different options to work, collaborate and hold meetings of different sizes are available. Private office spaces. Conference rooms and large meeting rooms. Bright and airy spaces. Not cramped / swished together spaces that I have seen in some co-working spaces. If you are looking for an every-now-and-then space, or a more permanent "office" space, check out Free Range. Ask for a tour. They have plenty of parking . . . .and even a 2nd location in Nob Hill, if this location just west of the University doesn't work for you.Why did I only give them four stars? Well, because I haven't actually worked there . . .yet. But, when and if I need a co-working space, this will definitely be my go-to option.

Wow. This is a great concept, one that I would think meets a great need for any freelancer, working professional, student or anyone who needs a place to work. FreeRange calls it a "co-working community" that offers shared and private workspaces for a daily fee, or you can choose one of their specialized memberships that provide different types of access and benefits. Modernized space, WIFI, coffee, desks, a meeting room to schedule with your clients (which is sure to be more professional than meeting in your living room, and more private than a local coffee shop), and a place to network with others. Bravo!

I went to attend a Yelp event in this location. It nice how they made spaces usable for people. There are some nice spaces that could be used for meetings and other things. There is limited parking in front so most of the parking will be street parking.

This location was a great place to host our event. It was a semi-open floor plan with 3 large rooms, a connecting hallway and restroom. I didn't see any individual offices as advertised on the site, and I didn't see a reception desk. The prices in their website are quite reasonable. I'm not sure about the safety of the location, as it is right off Central. It has a small parking lot in front.

I'll get a few tiffs (petty quarrels) out of the way first. There isn't enough natural light in this place, I'm a fan of vitamin D, so long stretches of work need to be supplanted with short strolls outside (that's what your lunch break is for, and there are plenty of great restaurants in walking distance, including Talking Drums, Yasmine's, and great ramen options). They still haven't nailed the cooling situation, it's often a little too hot. The printer is free, but it's a home office printer, nothin' that can handle bigger jobs. Due to the relatively close quarters, I feel particularly guarded taking phone calls in the premises and often step outside so that nobody else can find out how I plan to take over the world. (Hint: it has something to do with sharks and friggin' laser beams https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bh7bYNAHXxw)What I really like about this shared office space:- Location: Perfect. I'm in and around this 'hood all the time, I often need a spot to drop in and plug away.- Staff: Great people. They're solid about keeping an eye on the front door, responsive to any concerns, and friendly.- Tech: Solid wifi signal, lots of spots to plug in, and an app on your phone gives you access to the building.- Cookies, cupcakes and treats: The icing on the proverbial cake around here are the little extras that make you feel like a part of the family. There's always decent coffee, water and often there's a box of goodies that are super yummers, little pick-me-ups when the lack of vitamin D might be gettin' me down. - Upcoming expansion: The building continues to expand and thus, in a few months, I may need to update this review. There's plenty of room to grow.

Came in on Wednesday, 5/3/17 for a professional photo. It was e-mailed to me two days later. Really nice spot. Close to the engineering side of campus for those who need it. This concept is different from working at Starbucks, but it's nice. Good place for working professionals, or profesional students. Howie, thanks for introducing me to this place.

Evan and team at FreeRange create a nice atmosphere to get work done. The space is really beautiful(looks even better than the pictures here). The location is great because it's across from UNM and there are plenty of restaurants. There's also ample street parking and a parking lot in the back. I've been to coworking spaces all over the world and FreeRange is one of the best.

Wow! Thanks for the headshots! What an amazing collection of people! Evan has gone above and beyond getting it all set up for usable office space. Joshua was professional and sweet taking my headshot. Thanks again. From the outside it looks like an old abandoned garage/station and I had no trouble parking but it was awkward. The space itself was open; two larger areas for events and smaller individual workspaces. I am a loud person by nature so I felt if I needed to work and take calls I would disturb others needing quiet. I like the perks like free coffee and snacks. I should have looked closer at the equipment. I am an Apple girl and I didn't look to see if their stuff was compatible. The WiFi was strong. I didn't use the bathroom so I can't review that aspect either. All the plants were beautiful and it was good energy for working. Working area was tuck way back away from the open natural light I personally love natural light and work off a laptop so I would probably ask to sit in the front if it was not being used. This location is super close to UNM and food so it's convenient and if I was someone that moved around a lot I could see this as a great stop in.
