Well...I'm hoping that the lady just didn't hear me with the face masks but....I hate what happened. And I kept stopping her during the cut to make sure she wasn't taking too much off the back (she took off 4 inches off the overall length when I asked for an undercut ). I only wanted the curly under hairs to be shaved- there was no need to trim them into this one inch monstrosity! I'm going somewhere else tomorrow to fix it. But no, not thrilled that even with me voicing concerns during the cut- that she didn't actually stop. 4 inches takes forever to grow out for me!

Being a travel physician and constantly on the go, it's​ hard to visit your hairdresser regularly. I am glad I found Mike through Yelp and Google reviews. The first time he cut my hair was in December 2017 and the second time was September 2018; nearly a year apart and he remembered​ me. Both were perfect. He is my hairdresser in ABQ when I fly there for work.UPDATE:I have also been getting my hair cut by Ken as​ well. Apparently, Ken cuts Mike's hair and Mike schedule is fairly busy. Ken is amazing. You can't go wrong with him. I highly recommend both of them if you are in ABQ.

I followed a stylist, Julie, to this shop and completely love all the folks there and have a very positive experience every time my sons and I go in for cuts. Would absolutely recommend Julie and the entire crew, for anyone!

This is an old Fantastic Sam's - says so right on the washing station chairs! It feels very 1980s. While I know this place has been updated in the last 20 years (I remember it having a different layout when I was a kid and it was owned by a different group of people), there really is very little evidence of the 21st century inside. The stylists both seemed competent - a man and his son were getting their hair cut in the chair next to me and turned out fine. My stylist was perfectly fine providing me with a simple cut. I wasn't confident enough in her abilities to let her cut my wanky, unruly bangs, though. Service was fast. Place was clean, but old. Price was very reasonable - $20 for a wash, cut, and style.

This is a great place!!!!! I've been coming for years and Mike always takes good care of me. The staff is very professional and friendly, and the prices are excellent. I recommend forever Beauty to all my friends and family.

I've been here before, the cut was better than I expected. So I decided to try the hair color. Well the gal who did my hair did three other haircuts after she put my solution in my hair. I think it was more than 40 minutes of processing because my hair is dry now. I told her that my hair takes on Red very easy-but she put more red in it, So now I have color that is more red than I wanted. Anyway, it's not to far off but still not what I asked for.The haircut is nothing like the picture I showed her. The only good part of it is the bangs, and it's only one side. They don't do a good job of drying or styling at all. I think they charge like $8 bucks to dry it and still don't style it very well. I'm disappointed in the haircut, I think if anyone takes your money for a service, they should do as good a job that they can. For a cut, color and shampoo products I paid over $100. I kind of feel ripped off. Also, her comb was broken and it just looked tacky. I wouldn't count this as a professional place at all. Now if they correct this haircut I may change the rating.I forgot to mention, the staff was very friendly at least. But in addition to good customer service, I expect skilled staff.

Mike. I've been going to him for 10 years now. And regardless of what crazy scheme I plan up he makes it happen. Prices are great compared to other salons and unlike other Asian hair places he does what I tell him to do, not what he feels I think I should do. The other stylists there are also just as talented and capable, I just prefer Mike since he's been my "guy" for so long.

A pretty great salon for the family! From haircuts to coloring, they do it all.I've been going here for a few years now & I like it because the people here are really nice! But, sometimes, on their busy days, the wait can be a complete drag (I once had to wait like an hour until they got to me). Other times, they're decent & I usually get my hair cut the way I want it to be. The last time I went in, I asked for a bang trim & the lady snipped here & there for a bit, but when I got out of the shop & looked at my bangs again, it looked like she barely did anything to them.

I walked into Forever Beauty entirely upon a whim; was seen immediately by a stylist (Tom--I think; phonetic!) who saw the picture I whipped out and did exactly what I asked for. I was very impressed and I will go back, most definitely. He was very nice, all the people there are very nice (with cool hair, too), and it looked like the clients were quite happy too. Men and women of all ages (OK, I was probably the oldest) and boys and girls too. It really is a family place, so glad I found it.

Avoid getting your hair cut here.I just got a horrible haircut from the woman at the end-it's so crooked and uneven. Worst haircut I have ever received. And now, because it's so messed up I will have to take off inches for someone else to fix their mistake.So disappointed.You did a terrible terrible job.
