For Your Care In-Home Care

My family first hired For Your Care in 2011 in order to have some daily in-home assistance for my mom and dad who were in their 90's. The caregivers were there for about five hours a day, assisting with meal preparation and housekeeping. We initially chose For Your Care because we knew the business owner (Liz Sands) from my parents' church. Later that year, when my dad passed rather unexpectedly at home, Mrs. Sands and her care team came immediately to the house to assist me there and to see that my mom was well attended. It was on that day that we transitioned to 24 / 7 in-home assistance and companionship for my mom.A couple of years later, due to requirements of my mother's long term care insurance, we were required to use another care service in Albuquerque. That turned out to be a major headache, as this other service constantly had personnel turnover, scheduling snafus and other issues that NEVER occurred when we were with For Your Care. In addition, the other service hired thieves, and things came up missing from my mother's home. This was NEVER the case with For Your Care.Happily, a couple of years ago, I fired the other service and was GLAD to sign a new contract with For Your Care. Liz Sands is hands-on with her business, provides personal service to her client families, and the caliber of caregiver that they hire is DEFINITELY a cut above. The honesty of a For Your Care caregiver and the quality of the care given to my mom is NEVER an issue. Mrs. Sands is ably assisted by her husband, Bill. These folks CARE, and providing quality service for their clients is very obviously their #1 priority.At this point, my mom is 98 years old, and largely because of For Your Care, she is still able to live in the home she has loved for the last 54 years. I could not have accomplished this level of comfort and contentment for my mom without the able assistance of Liz and Bill Sands and the team at For Your Care.

This firm provided 24/7 care for my wife for her final year. Their staff was competent and caring. Their management was always available by phone no matter what the hour in case of problems.
