Excellent food tour. Our guide Jose was so gracious and so informative and so helpful in taking us around to a number of restaurants from beginning to end. Everything was first class and delicious and the side information that Jose knows and has was very helpful to us during the tour and will be afterwards, as we explore Santa Fe on our own. A+++ for sure

Review for New Mexican Flavors Food Tour Santa Fe If you're on the hunt for a delightful concoction of history, tales, and tantalizing tastes, the New Mexican Flavors Food Tour in Santa Fe is your ticket! Our guide, Jose Lopez, wasn't just a regular tour leader - he was a maestro of culture, stories, and most importantly, scrumptious food. Every corner we turned with him seemed like a gateway to another story, another bite, another sip.Jose's knowledge of the area was both deep and wide, taking us through the rich tapestry of Santa Fe's history while also ensuring our palates were entertained with some of the most delightful dishes (and let's not forget those refreshing Margaritas! ). Every stop was a testament to Jose's commitment to ensuring our group had an unparalleled experience. The tour wasn't just about eating (though trust me, that was a huge part!). We got to explore the iconic plaza area, diving deep into its meaningful highlights. Every tale Jose shared breathed life into the cobblestones and walls of Santa Fe, making them dance with history and flavor. If you have time on your hands, and even if you don't, make time for this tour. It's not just recommended; it's a must-do! Kudos to Jose and the team for making our day a fiesta of fun and flavors!

We had an outstanding tour! There were 6 of us, and we all could not have been happier with the entire afternoon! Peter was amazing - he knows so much about the city, the state, the food, the wine, everything. He answered 100 questions from us, kept the pace perfectly, and really tailored the experience to our likes and desires. I would highly recommend to anyone wanting to get the flavor of Santa Fe - literally and figuratively. The food on all stops was incredible, as was the service.

We had a group of 4 all visiting Santa Fe for the first time take a food tour with Jose. We all had an incredible time learning, eating, and drinking our way through the plaza. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone coming to town. It was filled with so much energy and positivity. We couldn't stop bringing up how fun it was for the rest of the weekend! It made us appreciate the city so much more and we are so thankful for the wonderful experience!

No flexibility in cancellations even for never seen before weather events. Canceled a day before the tour due to having to get back home early to beat the hurricane and not helpful at all for any refund. Refuses even a partial refund. In reply to the business owner, the cancellation was done prior to being reached out about final details, that information you stated is incorrect. As I mentioned in the review, this was a never before event that could not be predicted. I feel my review is a very accurate representation of the experience I had.

Our first day in Santa Fe we decided to do the food tour! ...excited to try all the culinary gems this city has to offer. Our tour guide Nick was awesome , very cool, and down to earth and a total foodie, with lots of suggestions on places to eat, and a tequila expert! He started off by making sure we knew the masking rules of Santa Fe, which is masks on indoors! He gave us a bit of a Santa Fe background talk and about the foodie scene. Then we hit the road, for our first stop. La Fogata, New Mexican and Latin American cuisine, here for the tacos and margaritas. Our sampling here was the beef tinga taco and a margarita. The taco had a awesome house made salsa verde, this made the taco one the best I've had, tender beef, great spice and just the right hit of cilantro and onion, partnered with the margarita this was amazing, the drink was very smooth and slightly sweet, as it was made with agave, but with the salt, it evened out. Loved this combo, and a great restaurant, looked like a fun place I would have come to anyway! Next, Del Charro, described as a watering hole, with food, here we got seated in a private room, and served our food straight away, here there was a the New Mexico green Chile cheeseburger, and the NM green Chile corn chicken chowder. Oh and another margarita! This again was outstanding. The soup was delicious, not really spicy but just a slight burst every now and again of Chile, but nice and cheesy and creamy, very comforting kinda soup. The burger, was nice char grilled, and had that taste, the Chile was great and I love the bun, not sure what it was but toasted too, nice amount of cheese too. Was like a slider, but was plenty. Soup and burger combo, um yes! Here the margarita wasn't my fave as it was sweet. But great food. Next stop, the upper crust pizza, nice sunny day so we were seated in the patio, cool little place, here they served us New Mexican style pizza, nice thin crust but bubbly on the crust edge, great sauce, nice amount of toppings, tomatoes corn, sausage, the sauce made this great. I'm a crust eater so I loved the bubbly part. Drinks here, was beer or a glass of Chardonnay, not a fan of either so skipped it. But fans of both said they were really good. Nick shows us some tourist spots along the way, gives us a little history, such a neat town this is. Saw so many cool places to eat on path of the tour. Lastly was dessert which we were picking up from Senor Murphy, candy maker. Nick got a bag of chocolates individually bagged for each of us. 3 different chocolates, one with Chile, one caramel and one plain chocolate. They were really good, you can tell not mass made, these would make great gifts. Only disappointment here was that we didn't have a sit down dessert somewhere, that would have been awesome to end the tour that way. Just saying. The tour itself was great, just over 2 hours, not too tiring, you get to see some things along the way. And learn something's, oh and eat some good stuff! Really glad we started off our weekend with this . Tour was the perfect group size too, not too big, only 12 I think. We met some great people who also love food . Great job Nick!

Took the tour today with Jose and.........Unbelievable.The food and margaritas were great but it was Jose who made the tour worthwhile. The amount of information we learned about Sante Fe was incredible and Jose's personality, delivery and wealth in information were outstanding. Do not take a food tour in Sante Fe unless Jose is your guide

Peter was fun, funny and very well informed. He gave us so much more than a food tour as his historical introduction to why we were eating the food we were experiencing.
