The croissant alone gets this place 5 stars! Probably one of the best I have had in a long time. Flakey buttery and made fresh every day. I had the green chili cheese croissant which some how they were able to maintain the layers and lightness. The latte was okay, but with a croissant this good the coffee is irrelevant.

Overall: Flying Roadrunner is a cute bakery and coffee shop in Old Town with some of the best croissants and danishes in town.Food: 5Every pastry that I have tried here has been excellent.Pan Au Chocolate: This was perfectly flaky, and I like how the chocolate is spread out throughout the entire pastry rather than just one log at the center. Turkey Croissant Sandwich: I'm not usually a fan of sweet and savory but the tiny bit of strawberry jam in this savory sandwich was delicious. You can ask them to warm it up so the cheese is nice and melty!Chorizo & Cheese Croissant: This was a surprising filling for a croissant but it was delicious.Cinnamon Rolls: These are not your typical soft cinnamon rolls. It has an almost caramelized bottom that's slightly crispy. They're also GIGANTIC.Service: 5The employees were very nice and patient while we decided on our orders.Ambiance: 5The shop has both indoor and outdoor seating. It's a nice little spot to sit and just people watch at the center of Old Town.

I treated myself to a delicious Blueberry pastry and a large cappuccino. This business is a new discovery for me so I thought I'd check them out. You order from the counter and choose a comfy place to sit. Street parking is available near the plaza however if you choose to order take out, you can park in the lot next door for no longer than 20 minutes.

This place is fabulous and sparkles with personality. Not to mention that you can smell the goodness of the croissants down the old town walkway! To many uniquely Albuquerque green chili Cubanito and lavender pastry. Don't miss out on this one of a kind experience.!

What a cute coffee shop/bakery right in the old town. When we went there they had Christmas decorations on, which made the shop even more cuter. I tried their Cappuccino only. It was alright. Nothing to stand out honestly. I liked their togo cup though. Also, I found out that they don't have too much of sitting area. It's better to hang out there a little bit and then walk around old town.

This is my new favorite bakery in Albuquerque and my only regret is not finding it sooner. I tried the ham and cheese savory croissant, and an almond croissant and it nearly knocked me off my chair. So flaky and buttery, I felt like I was back in France. Highly recommend and cannot wait to go back.

Very nice coffee shop in Old Town with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Quaint and rustic - the building seems to be original, along with most of the floorboards - the menu is great! I took one of almost everything and all my friends raved. My favorite was the lemon roll with lavender frosting (think cinnamon roll with a totally different flavor profile). Don't miss the chance to enjoy a great pastry and espresso drink here!

Bake the CycleAdorable family-owned and run bakery that "...specializes in french pastries with a New Mexican flare."We stopped in here on our last full day in ABQ to get a light bite and caffeineted to start our day, and it was a pleasant experience. The Good:*Located in Old Town Albuquerque, which is one a must-see if you're visiting ABQ. *Great décor with lots of local art showcased *Red Chile Mocha was fantastic as it showcased the harmonious balance between chocolate and chiles that everyone needs to try to believe. *Cruffins were flaky and buttery as advertised*Friendly serviceThe Meh:*Biscochito Cruffin didn't have that classic anise and cinnamon flavor of a traditional Biscochito in the cream, only the tiny cookie. Don't get me wrong, it was still delicious, but it would've been a flavor bomb if they'd flavored the cream. *Only street parking (i.e., metered) on Mon - Sat 0700 - 1800 (free on Sundays and holidays)Conclusion: Fantastic spot in Old Town to get high-quality baked goods and an excellent cup o' Joe.

First let me start with the croissants. They are extraordinary! I came for a coffee but left raving about the croissants. There are big and flakey, with so many layers of happiness. We had the green chili, turkey sandwich, almond, and chocolate croissants. All 4 were amazing. I was sad we didn't get extras for the next day lol. Truly great baking! The coffee was good as well. The owners were kind and pleasant. Great place to stop for coffee and croissants. Highly recommend! We will be back the next time we are in town. I only wish they were closer to us!
