Flatiron bites & brews

This was my second time in Flatiron and I enjoyed it both times. This time I came in craving a Cheeseburger and I ordered their NM Bacon Cheeseburger. I feel like this is one of the better burgers I have had locally. I like that they do it with American Cheese and this is probably the only restaurant that has property toasted the bun. The crunch from that was very satisfying. Probably close to a perfect burger. The fries were okay, probably would not get them again. Was worried when we came in as no one had food, but the food came out pretty quick and the service was good. The inside was also very clean and modern. Overall I was impressed, and would come back for their burgers.

Today was our first ever visit to flatiron. We got there around 1pm and it was very empty. Which was awesome for us, as the last time we tried to go the parking lot was packed and we didn't stop as we were short on time. The waiter greeted us right away and was very friendly. I first tried to order a margarita from off the menu but they were out of triple sec so I did have to opt for another drink... but the drink I ordered was delicious and well made. There are plenty of board games to choose from to play while you wait for your food or just enjoy a drink. However their music selection was awesome so it was nice to just talk and enjoy the music! My husband ordered their craft burger and was throughly impressed. He was only able to eat half. I had a taste of it as well and it was amazing. I had their Greek salad... I felt like the flavor of the chicken in it wasn't very complementary to the salad itself... but the salad was tasty and the Greek dressing was flavorful. We will definitely be back to try more from the menu as our experience and what we ordered today was great!

Came to this fun little place to listen to a few bands play for a fundraiser for a child. It was super crowded but I found a place to sit. I ordered a peanut butter porter and it was to die for!!! I also ordered the pickle fries and they were really good. It was nice to be able to bring my kiddo, hear some awesome music, and drink what is possibly now my favorite beer. Cheers!

At lunch, we were looking for something we haven't tried before. Flatiron showed on Yelp and it was close. The decor was nice, a bit on the dark, sports bar side, but the big windows gave enough light for lunch hour. The bartender and waiters were very attentive and friendly. For appetizers, our server said we counldn't go wrong with chile cheese fries. Even though they looked good, they lacked flavor and spice. We ordered the Avocado Bacon Cheeseburger with green chile and the House Apple Coleslaw. The burger patty was thick and juicy. It was mostly at medium temperature. The portion of avocado was quite impressive. However, just like the fries, the burger had very little flavor. The coleslaw was interesting but was quite heavy on the cinnamon. Truly, the service, portions, and look of the food could have made this experience a good one, but unfortunately it disappointed in flavor.

We decided to come to this place on a Sunday and it was such a good choice. Flatiron is located by Cliffs and the Albuquerque Great Academy. This place is more than just a brewery as the food is amazing. There are a lot of seating options and a football game was on the screen. The staff was friendly and helpful as well as just pleasant to be around. We got a beer, Diet Coke, NM Bacon Yard Bird, house made chips, Calabacitas, and the Chicken Salad Sandwich. The food was delicious and the house made chips were my favorite. All together it was around $50 for two people.

Excellent service! Best hamburger, it was well seasoned and cook to our liking!!!! Homemade potato chips were really good and also seasoned well. The French fries needed to be crispier, but were fresh and the salt was just the right amount.Only drawback was the queso, it needs work! I just could not knock off a star for that! Sorry photos were not thought of till after we devoured our food.

First time here. Lydia the bartender was great. Different options if beer and brewers, cocktails also avail. Had the Navajo Taco which was good. Adding red enchilada sauce as suggested by Lydia was great! Will be back if we are in the neighborhood. Support local!!

Super bangin'!! Great date night spot. We have been a few times and everything has been excellent. Burgers are top notch!

I think this place is fairly new because they didn't have a real sign up. It has a pretty cool feel on the inside and the service was great. My wife had the fry bread tacos and she said it was delicious. Beware it's a lot of food. I had a border with the Cole slaw and that was delicious. Definitely will go back and try again

The food looks delicious and very good. It is a family-owned and operated atmosphere too.
