I like that this place is near the plaza but is tucked back away so that it seems to be more of a locals than tourist place, keeping it casual and lower priced than some, with a fun colorful paper flag decor. The menu has an extensive array of vegetarian and vegan options, with mole sauce and other sauces and flavors not at other Mexican or New Mexican restaurants. My food was very flavorful and satisfying.

The food and service is amazing. Don't mind the few gabachos that gave it a low rating. I suggest getting the mole samples and choose your favorite for the main dish. This is real authentic Oaxaca food. Definitely worth stopping in. ¡Muchas gracias!

We came to Fiesta Oaxaca as a party of 5 and were in a rush. We wish we could have stayed here longer, but we enjoyed a quick bite. I ordered the vegan Taquitos dorados -these are wonderful. Both the red and green sauces were solid here, and it was a great pick me up. Horchata-their horchata was wonderful. Very present with the cinnamon without being too much. Mole chicken (I was unable to get the name) -love the cinnamon with this sauce. Normally I am not a cinnamon person it this was well balanced, and not too sweet. Definitely the most unique thing that we had here. Their seating was comfortable and their decor was vibrant and lovely. We would love to come back for a full meal and some margaritas next time.

My friend and I randomly stopped in and we're not disappointed. The place is quaint but has space for groups with indoor and outdoor seating. We sat outdoors and even though we were the only guests outside we were waited in promptly. We both ordered mole dishes thinking we were getting the enchiladas; however, there was some miscommunication and we got the platter. Since it was the same meat and mole we decided to not press it. So make sure to be clear on what you want because dishes are named the same thing! While that was a bummer the food was delicious especially the mole and beans! I would have eaten much more beans had I been served. They were not too salty with a great amount of flavor. When getting a to go box the waiter offered more beans and rice! My heart was overjoyed. Cool to recognize that a costumer enjoyed something and to provide more. Will definitely being coming back.

My number one recommendation here is to try the mole sampler! Such a fun experience. My husband and I read the ingredients for each mole and had so much fun tasting and discussing. We also like the rest of what we tried, particularly the relleno in veracruz sauce.Yummy southern Mexican food, nice atmosphere and patio, great service and such a fun mole tasting experience!

Having just returned from Mexico we still needed some flavor and zest from our Southern neighbor. Fiesta Oaxaca scores 5 stars for their Oaxacan molé and Oaxacan chicken tamal wrapped in banana leaf. Wow! We loved every single bite and decided we have a new favorite place to meet up. Great waitstaff, cold Mexican beer and fun music over the speakers. We literally planned our next trip to Mexico and will include Oaxaca as we eat (and drink ) our way south.

Great vegan option in Santa Fe! Many/most of the items on the menu can be made vegan, everything is very clearly marked (see photos). They make their own fake meat, plus they have vegan cheese. Food was delicious, service was super friendly and accommodating. Mere steps to the Georgia O'Keeffe museum :-) Perfect spot to stop after looking at art. THANK YOU Fiesta Oaxaca!
