Service amazing. Cocktails 5 out of 5. Owner Matthew was so accommodating and has a wealth of knowledge and his bartender Jackson! The fact that they have the RAMOS GIN FIZZ on the menu says enough about their dedication to making cocktails as it's one of the most labor intense cocktails to make . Very impressed. The vibe is intimate and retro . I loved sitting at the bar with jackson for bday drinks !!! I love that Matthew supports non profits and strives to help the community as well. The entire concept of his bar is to mimic the speakeasies of New York City milk and honey and he has succeeded. Nice work sir.

This one is tough to write. I really liked Fat Franks when they first opened. They have increased their cocktail prices. I ordered a $17 cocktail that was served in a glass that looked to be from Dollar Tree. Not kidding. Nothing against Dollar tree, but C'mon...We had a reservation and waited outside about 5-10 minutes before anyone answered the phone/door. We almost left. We came to realize that the bouncer was also the doorman...Poor guy was running up the stairs to let people in, then running back downstairs to make drinks. And it's not like this place was packed. Every time I have been here it's pretty dead. I've only been on Friday & Saturday nights after 7pm. Sadly, the cocktails were lack luster. For the price, it only made the lack luster flavor sting more. The food was also overpriced and just okay - nothing mind blowing. I mean - French fries and hotdogs...c'mon...I love their concept to help the community by asking for donated canned goods as an entry fee. Overall - if I am going to chose a Speakeasy, I will be heading to Founder's.

Stepping into this speakeasy was so fun with a secret mission to support the community! From the moment you knock and make your "delivery" at the door, the vibe is pure magic. Inside, the food is absolutely delicious and the specialty drinks? Top-notch, each one crafted to perfection. The bartender and staff were very attentive. And the owner? A total gem--he took time to share his story, and it was as inspiring as the concept itself. Supporting a different organization each month while enjoying amazing eats and sips? This place isn't just a night out; it's a feel-good experience you'll want to keep coming back to. Cheers to great food, great drinks, and giving back!

OK, I want to start off with saying that their delivery system is very interesting and overall different from some of the other speakeasy environments I've experienced. I love that they are partnering with local nonprofits and tying admission into donations. The space is cool. It's pretty big and easily accommodated a larger party of six of us. Service was great, they never got super busy. Our reservation was for 6:30 on a Saturday night and I believe there were two other parties the entire time we were there. I really really enjoyed the cocktail offerings, they're a bit on the price your side for cocktails and Albuquerque, but I got the dreamsicle cocktail twice and it was really good. I was able to sip a few other cocktail options that friends ordered, including the espresso martini, which was very sweet. The food options were decent. I will say I felt like the food prices were a little high for hotdogs and french fry type stuff. I would personally rather just keep it to cocktails, but it is great that they have food options.

We enjoyed our evening here. The drinks were good as was the service and atmosphere. The menu is pretty much hot dogs and some appetizers. Lots of hot dog and brauts to choose from and we enjoyed what we had but you need to be in the mood for hot dogs if you're going to eat.

Personally I was very let down with Fat Frank's. Seeing their Instagram I was really excited for the speakeasy- they do a good job of making it seem special and crafted. The experience itself was disappointing and I won't be back. When we arrived with our reservation (aka delivery) we had to continuously knock for quite a while before someone let us in. Being that you are just standing in the alley waiting, that was uncomfortable. Service was very slow & it wasn't crowded. When we arrived there was 1 group at the bar and 1 other group at another table. 3 sets of 3 people including our group. It took my group ~1 hr 30 to get our drink and then check & in that time span no other customers arrived. Lastly I got a mocktail & I ended up hating it. $20 (including tax/tip) for a gross MOCKtail pushed me to really disliking this spot. I hate to give a bad review but I didn't enjoy the spot in any way. Happy Accidents has such better drinks & service, and isn't too far.

I am on a mission to find the best cocktail lounge in New Mexico. There are 21 others who share this mission. We have been on the quest for about 1.5 years. We have hit a number of lounges with mixed results.Fat Frank's has been on my list for a while. For some reason I just never pulled the trigger on the place.Last night we finally went to Fat Franks. There were 18 enchanted loungers. We only had drinks. We did not order food. We all loved our cocktails, the place, and the service. The cocktails were great and creative. The vibe is hippity hop cool. The place is small and tight. We arrived at 6.00 p.m. Initially, we were the only ones in the place. By the time we left at 7.20, the place was full. The service was great. The bartender knew his drinks and their ingredients. He made good suggestions when asked. Mike was terrific. Even though there were 18 of us, tracking individual tabs was no problem. When it was time to go, tabs were quickly processed and cleared and we were on our way to dinner.Afterwards, we all agreed that this was one of the top five best lounges we have been too in ABQ / Santa Fe.

Pricy, $16-18 for a cocktail, and you must give a "donation" for a charity at the door or it's added to your bill. Who knows if that donation actually makes it to the charity. Trendy speakeasy concept and the hot dogs are really good. Service was mid to poor. Nothing that special about the ambiance. it's small and dark with little decor. Did it and probably not going back. I now understand the innuendo in the name, which is pretty funny.
