Fat City is a small bakery located off of Eubank inside one of the plazas. It's a little tucked away but easy to find. They have some really good treats, including the raspberry biscochito bars, gold bars, and a lemon cheesecake bar with pistachio crust. I will say the lemon cheesecake was an absolute favorite. The prices are reasonable, about $13 for three treats.

Really friendly and warm owners and even more terrific pastries. Got the Superberry danish, lemon danish, bourbon croissant, cheese and jalapeño croissant, Mexican chocolate croissant, and citrus coconut coffee cake. I hoovered all of them. My only regret is not having more room in my belly for round two! This place is a gem, tucked away in a strip mall, in a neighborhood. Don't sleep on this one. Amazing.

I found this place on a list of the best bakeries in Albuquerque and I'm glad I went - they had some very good items!I had the following: - Gouda Green Chile Croissant - Pistachio White Chocolate Cookie - Chocolate Chile Cookie - Biscochito Sandwich CookieThe croissant itself wasn't fantastic, but I did appreciate the unique flavors from the cheese and chiles...it was nice to have something savory and different. The pistachio cookie was fantastic and my favorite item from the bakery - soft, buttery and full of lovely pistachios. The chocolate chile cookie was my least favorite item - it didn't have much chocolate flavor. I really liked their versions of the biscochito - this was a sandwich cookie, with generous buttercream in the center; the buttercream cream was a bit much for me, but I really enjoyed the cookie portion - perfectly sweet and full of that great anise flavor.I'd definitely go back for the items I really enjoyed and try some other their other options.

I like this place it has a variety of sweets and yummy goodies. Am I comfy going here as a heavy girl? no. Something about visiting fat city eats is not so charming. Also something else about that name reminds me that even the place I visit is body shaming me claiming me as part of their own "fat city". Kidding, kinda, just not my favorite name for a bakery. But great sweets.

We found this place by googling "ABQ dessert." The name was all I needed to want to stop by. I didn't know I needed a Vegan biscochito sandwich until today. Wow! I enjoyed it very much, it was soft and buttery. I also had fun chatting with the server about my biscochito fails since I moved to ABQ. My other vice is cheesecake. Let me tell you, the lemon was PHENOMENAL! I tried the chocolate too, but I'm not a chocolate fan. The crust was perfect! I also tried the peach iced tea. It was literally like drinking a peach! Other than the taste, what I love most is the local support. The local artist wall showcased amazing work and all of their ingredients are locally sourced AND the packaging and utensils are environmentally friendly. I was told that not all the items are always available, so I'll be heading back soon to see what's new!

I saw an ad for this place on Facebook and saw that they had Green Chile croissants which I thought was interesting so I decided to give it a try. I ordered on their website two of the croissants and a brownie. They have a ton of different baked goodies on their site. Their Facebook is a great place too as they show their cakes and sometimes give away free cakes! The offer curbside pickup which was super easy to follow, they text you when the order is ready! They are absolutely delicious and melt in your mouth! The green chile wasn't heavy, but just the right amount. The brownie was also very yummy! I definitely will go back, their baked goods are just amazing! Highly recommend.

I stopped in after anxiously awaiting it's re-opening after COVID. My in-laws live nearby, and they are pastry people. I thought I might surprise them with a box of buttery goodness, and they were not disappointed. You really can taste the layers of butt-a. Light, flaky. I ordered a green chile cheddar croissant roll *so yum*, a prickly pear lime coconut danish *delish*, a ginger plum oat danish*fantastic*, a cherry berry with blue corn danish *superb* and apricot with oat danish *phenomenal*, a raspberry with blue corn muffin *wowza* and a gold bar *ohhh yeahhh*. Guys, it was worth the calories, every single last one.

Such a splendid place! They have so much variety to their sweets - from danishes to muffins to cookies to other fantastic treats . My absolute favorite thing to get is the raspberry biscochito bar- it has the perfect ratio of raspberry to biscochito! We tried some of their seasonal drinks and those were tasty as well. I got the London Fog with prickly pear and it was very unique. The shop itself is awesome too. They have local art everywhere for sale! Everytime we come here the people working are super friendly! I love this place!
