A fantastic game store! Very welcoming, friendly, and knowledgeable staff. Their game selection is relatively small, but if they don't have something you want, they'll order it for you at a discount. They have a sizable in-store area (eight large tables) for playing games, either your own games or borrowed from their free library. Very generous to players - no cost to play in-store or borrow, and you can buy snacks and other items. We're glad we found this place!

Friendly staff and reasonable and competitive pricing. I haven't played games at a store in a long time and have been mostly purchasing things online as other stores I've been to charge too much over internet pricing. I like to support local but only if the markup is fair. I purchased about $200 in product in store and will continue to do so as long as they have fair prices and decent inventory.

This is a small hobby/tabletop miniature gamestore in the side of a marketplace. You would miss it just driving by if you didnt know it was there. It doesnt have a fancy sign or anything. But it does have a friendly staff and very accommodating. It's not too large of a store but it will house different kinds of board games and card games. Place has all kinds of snacks and beverages for customers as well as board games to try out. I will definitely come here to satiate my nerd hobby!

I am picky about my FLGSs (that's a Friendly Local Gaming Store to the uninitiated). I usually only visit one in my home town but found myself in need of minis in Albuquerque, NM. I didn't want to go to the larger stores with their rude, soul-dead employees and give my money to someone who barely knows what D&D is. So I took a shot and went to Ettin games. If you are not a gamer, stop reading here; you don't care. If you ARE a gamer and in Albuquerque...go there! They have a modest selection but what they have is quality. More to the point, the folks running the place are both knowledgeable and patient. They'll steer you through your needs and even send you to the competition if they don't have what you want. In short, they care about the gamer more than the sale. If you're into D&D, Warhammer or even just boxed games, why not give this small FLGS a shot? Their selection is a bit small but, if we all start frequenting the place, that could change. Go there! You'll be glad you did.

I called today around 3:30pm and got ahold of a Manger called Brian. I told Brian I had a Package New in box From Games Workshop of some Aleguzzler Gargants. They sell for $125 on Games Workshop's website store. I asked Brian if He could do an exchange since I got an extra box of Gargants for Christmas, He was very nice and said he would take care of me and do an exchange. I drove from 98th street which is about a 30 minute drive out of my way to get to your establishment to only find out That Brian was doing the Old Bait and switch on me, or he was trying to get over on me. When I arrived he said he would ONLY give me 65% of the value of the product, Only 65%. Why? Is he goin to sell it for profit for himself? He never mentioned he would only give Partial Credit, IF he would've of mentioned this on the phone instead of making me feel as if he will take care of me I would've never went there. I wasted Gas and my time, when all Brian had to do was mention he wouldn't of gave me full credit for the product. He was not only rude but he also tried to change what he was going to give me when I spoke up about what he offered to give me. He first started with 65% then tried to work his way up to 80% refund value, Why? Not only was this some huge RED FLAGS, but it really seemed as if he was trying to Profit off of my Product. Really was a bad experience, and Brian is a straight dick. Never will visit again.

I visited this game store today and was pleasantly surprised by the selection and variety of quality games, the friendly customer service, and the overall positive vibe in this store. I left feeling good and found a game that I was looking for. As a female, I have had some unfortunate experiences in gaming stores that make me apprehensive to step inside them again-even if said store has a large selection of games to purchase. At Ettin Games and Hobbies I felt very much welcomed and was greeted with a smile while inside the store as well. That has rarely happened to me in any other gaming store in Albuquerque. I plan to return!
