WARNING: Cash Only!!!Espresso de Arte is run on a cash only basis. Come prepared. Major star dockage for not joining the 21st century and accepting plastic or e-payments.I finally caught them during open hours & ordered my litmus drink for a coffee joint: a large mocha. It was good, but not earthshaking. The coffee flavor came through clearly & the chocolate taste was there in appropriate volume. The presentation was nice enough. Counter lady was efficient & proficient, though not particularly friendly.Price was in line with other coffee vendors, $4-$5 for the mocha. In that price range, I'll likely stick with 35 Degrees North, which is my recommended coffee stop on the Santa Fe plaza.

Rarely would I give a one star review but we came to have a coffee while visiting Santa Fe and had a really poor experience. The cappuccino came in a cpu that had a stain on the rim with a hair stuck to it. We asked politely to have it remade in another cup and they refused saying that it was not a hair. They then took a small straw and swirled around it covering the hair. We were in shock and left.

One of the best espresso places in Santa Fe! If you dont like this experience then you dont know what it means to have the "local" Santa Fe experience. This couple has been here serving espresso for years and provide the very best of experiences. Again, if you rate this place less than 5 stars you are missing the point. I mean seriously!!! Thanks for the amazing experience guys!

They are very nice and friendly and even let me have a poster that was in the window for a show I was in town to see! The coffee was good :)

do you remember those home made sandwiches your grandma/pa made for you after a hard morning of playing, we'll let the folks at Espresso de Arte craft one for you. I had an excellent ham sandwich, with home made mayo, and jalapeños, lettuce, tomatoes, mustard on whole grain bread, along with an Americano served hot or on ice. Very affordable and the folks were super nice!

Great service, great prices, great food and drinks. Will be back to try more! I wanted to try a sandwich but opted for the tuna salad. It's not "fancy" but it's good and it's all that I wanted.

Wow. The older woman working here, unknown if she owns the place or not, was the most rude person I have ever encountered. She treated me like garbage for simply asking what the bathroom code was. She told me it's private and I can go across the street. And I said oh the cafe said the bathrooms were down here, and she says in disbelief "And they didn't give you a code? Public restrooms are across the street" I then said, ok I'll just call my husband upstairs... and then she backtracked and gave me the code... like why was she so incredibly rude to me?? Probably because we chose to get coffee upstairs? Idk but I would never give my money to this establishment.

Pros: excellent chicken chili stew, carne adovado and tamales -- all home made. Great place for a real non-Starbucks coffee expresso breakCons: location is in the basement in Plaza Galeria. Easy to enter via Waters Street or downstairs off Plaza, head to back The owners are a husband and wife who enjoy serving folks. Not at all commercial and prices are a very reasonable .... not tourist prices. When I am in Santa Fe, I always try to visit for lunch or afternoon coffee.FYI--- this place is a favorite of Adam Sandler, the actor....

Absolutely THE WORST latte I have ever had. No contest. Threw it away but didn't have the heart to tell the kind lady at the cash register it was awful. But it was SO BAD. They also don't take credit. Maybe the other items are fine, but the espresso was bitter and horrible. And I have NEVER written a negative review on espresso before - this isn't me being picky... it was objectively horrible.
