My boyfriend and I went there yesterday for massage and our first time floating. I had an amazing time, my massage therapist (unfortunately I forgot her name) was very good. I feel asleep several times. She was gentle but at the same time deep enough to help me with my muscle soreness. The floating experience was very interesting. The owner explained to us in detail about what to do and how to enjoy the experience at the fullest. He seemed very knowledgeable and friendly. I hope to come back for more!

I came here after purchasing a Groupon that was a combination of the sensory deprivation tank float and a massage. It was totally worth the cost. My body, mind, and soul had been in dire need of a rest and reset after having a sick infant and partner since Thanksgiving. I was able to make an appointment here for my Groupon easily on Monday. My therapist greeted me and I wasn't expecting anything fantastic because I judged a book by its cover. She was a small, soft-spoken women who asked what type of massage I'd like and what brought me in, I told her I preferred firm and deep massages and that the majority of my pain in resting in my neck, shoulders, and back. She was amazing. I always appreciate a therapist that listens, but also asks questions. I love a good glute massage as well and it was glorious. After the massage, I did the soak. They had me take a shower before floating to help get all of the oil off of my body. I loved the smell of the products in the shower. After my float, I showered again.I'd advise planning a little longer than you expect so you can shower afterwards and enjoy yourself, taking in the relaxation. I almost wanted them to offer me a pillow and blanket for a nap before going out into the world. I'll definitely be back.

Firstly, this place is clean and simple. The staff member who helped me out was peaceful, positive, and very informative of the process (floating).I'm claustrophobic . . . I discovered while having an MRI, so I was a touch apprehensive about this floating business. However, the float tank came highly recommended by a trusted friend, so I wanted to give it a try.The tank itself was clean and surprisingly spacious to the point I could fully extend both of my arms to the side. I felt 0% anxious the entire time. While the float wasn't necessarily life altering, it was my first time, and I did experience some pleasant and interesting benefits such as deep relaxation and a neutral, almost emotionless flow of thoughts. I had vivid memories of past experiences that were meaningful to me. All in all, I will likely return especially on a day when I have nothing to do afterward, as I felt really relaxed and sleepy.Oh yes, I almost forgot. The one thing that would make this place so much better is to have lotion pumps in the rooms. The salt water and double shower (before and after) really dry the body out in our New Mexico climate.

I got a Groupon for this place so that I could try the sensory deprivation tank. It was an amazing experience. The building is nicely designed inside and you must take your shoes off when entering so as not to disturb others who may be doing yoga, getting a massage or who are chilling in the floatation tank. The staff are very friendly and happy to explain exactly what will happen during your experience. In fact, they have a five minute video that explains everything but they are also happy to answer questions as well. The location is very clean. I'm not one for shared showers but this one didn't gross me out because it was clean with no left over water in the shower from the last guest. There is a nice changing room and the floatation room was clean, with subtle lighting. It was such a good experience that I bought a pack of four sessions and I'm going back this week to try it out again.Of note: if you are claustrophobic I'm not sure you will be able to do the floatation tank. There is PLENTY of room in it, however it is dark and if you freak out easily in small spaces, this might not be the experience for you. With that said, I think that if you could really meditate and not focus on where you are, then you will likely be okay. And you can always pop the door open and get out easily if you are uncomfortable. That alone should ease some of the apprehension. With that said - this is a great spot and I'm definitely going to be going back again and again. I highly recommend trying it out, whether for yoga, a massage or the floatation tank.

Tried the flotation therapy for 60 minutes. It was the older tank. I was relaxed but it was hard to breathe at first. You must be able to breathe in humidity. I deducted a star because it smelled a tiny bit like mildew. It wasn't major but slightly unpleasant. The shower could use more water pressure for after. You want more power to get the Epsom salt out of your hair. The soap, shampoo and conditioner smells great. I would go back but ask for the newer tank. Also it is the new location so maybe the last had more rugs in the rooms. They look nice in these photos but different in the newer location. There are three plastic bath mats and the rest is cold tile.

I had a great flotation experience here. The woman that helped me at the front desk was so kind and helpful. The float experience itself was peaceful and calming. The center was clean and beautiful and I was told they had just redone the floors in the flotation tank rooms. I recommend this place and I will be returning.

As a stay at home mother with no children and a fat ass I've been weighing my options of getting back into shape. You see, no one understands or appreciates the lack of responsibility I have at this point in my life. So, as I am trying to get back into fitness through the gym, swimming, walking my dog, and attempting not to eat every single frozen pizza and popsicle in my freezer I decided to try and get back into the hot yoga scene. You see, I HATE hot yoga. I appreciate it, yes, but it has always made me feel like a giant round sweaty, stinky, sticky ass. I decided to try Enlighten Others Hot Yoga for a Yoga/Pilates (YOGALATES) class with a couple of friends. As I walked my chafing ass the two blocks to the yoga studio I imagined my life for the next hour of sweat, doom, unhappiness, judgmental looks, the smell of nasty feet, and people attempting to stop me from drinking water(WE DRINK IT AS A GROUP M,KAY), I was dreading this experience. I was dreading the impending doom of the headache that would hit me afterwards where I would have to crawl into bed immediately after and hope my imaginary kids would be asleep already. Instead, I got one of the best gosh darn hot anything classes I have ever taken. The studio is small and intimate, our teacher, Jamie, was so incredibly helpful. I didn't spend my entire yoga class thinking about the cheese burgers I would eat when I got out, counting down the seconds feeling like the class would never end, but focusing on my breath, on my movement, and pushing myself a little further after each set. When the class was over I couldn't believe I had made it through it without feeling like I was going to die or pass out. My body and mind felt SO good. It's at that point that I realized, "OH MY GOD! THIS IS WHAT OTHER PEOPLE FEEL WHEN THEY DO HOT YOGA! THIS IS WHY IT'S A THING!" Basically, I didn't feel like a ball of ass with a ridiculously bad headache.I can't wait to go back and take more of their yoga classes!! Hopefully my thighs will want a divorce after a few months of classes! One can only hope.

I don't have a single complaint about this studio. My fiancé and I first went to Enlighten Others for the floatation tanks and I loved that experience. The facilities were very clean and well kept and the staff was very informed and educated about the benefits of sensory deprivation. I was nervous at first but I'm so glad I tried it. It was incredibly relaxing and it made my skin feel so soft. I recently started attending the hot yoga classes led by Sarah Yogi. Her use of affirmations during her yoga classes and her intuitive approach to yoga leave me feeling amazing after class. I especially enjoyed the black light hot yoga and the warm and gentle yoga.

I got a groupon for ENLIGHTEN OTHERS for $25 for 10 classes. I went to my first class and really enjoyed it. Denise was my instructor. I decided to do warm and gentle yoga for atleast the first couple classes since I'm not really accustomed to yoga, let alone hot yoga. The warm and gentle yoga class gets to about 98 degrees, as opposed to the hot yoga getting to 110+ degrees. I thought Denise did a great job and she helped me into some of my moves, which was nice. Make sure you bring a towel, water, and your own mat, if you have one. Mat rentals are $2 and that can add up.

I have been going to Enlighten for about six months. I am so grateful I discovered floating. It has profoundly changed my life. The detoxification it provided from the first session helped me realize what my body needed. The emotional peace and energy I come out with is amazing. Everyone who has helped me there has been excellent. It is quite the special place.
