Elite Physique Gym

We have been coming to Elite for about a year and a half now. First and most important in my opinion is the cleanliness of the gym and all the equipment. They really take care of things and it always looks bright and new. The equipment is top of the line. And there are plenty of free weights for everyone, no "lunk alarm" here! The employees are always friendly and helpful if needed. They have childcare which is something we must have or I wouldn't be able to work out. My kids love the care workers, and play room. On the weekend they can join a workout class with other kids their age and they love that as well.They have seperate mens/women's locker rooms with a shower if that is something you need. They also offer many work out classes throughout the day in addition to all the awesome weightlifting equipment. At the end of your workout, on occasion, you can grab a fresh piece of fruit. They are an amazing gym, and we are so happy to have found them. The people that go are friendly and I never feel out of place or unwelcomed. And it never feels so busy that you're constantly waiting for the equipment. Will snap pics next time I am there, but go check it out for yourself!

Horrible, classless owner that has an excuse for everything that's wrong in her gym. She is greedy and dishonest. If you sign up, watch for random charges on your account. If you need proof, just look the Google reviews and the responses she gives to anyone that is even slightly critical of her poor business practices.

Went there happily to sign up, intrigued by their monthly $29.99 deal that they have blatantly advertised on their building as well as their website. Upon arrival, we were told the deal was canceled. After we said we were still able to do it online, the girl working the counter snapped at us and said "well you can't do it in person," so we left. Very disappointing experience, especially because we were so eager to give them our business.

Been going here for a couple years now. Was an amazing gym. KEY word WAS. Ever since the old owner left it's gone down the shit hole as far as management. They had classes to attend that were included with your membership out of the blue it's changes now you have to pay? It almost seems they are trying to scrape money where ever they can. On a positive note all the personal trainers are very professional and very knowledgeable. Not to mention they have 3 of the top trainers voted best in the city. They are always willing to help you no matter if your a client or not. The actual work out experience now I really don't enjoy being stared down from the gentlemen wearing full on winter attire in the middle of summer. And there should be no reason for someone to dictate on whom you work out with. It's obvious this gym is going down hill...My advice don't waste your money here.

This gym is by far my fave gym to hit when I'm in Rio Rancho the staff is great the place is set up to break a sweat so it's set up like a regular gym but in the back they got a cool set up for cross fit big tires and the bigger tires and the really big tires ropes for climbing one knotted one not If your in Rio Rancho you wanna unwind then this is the place not overly crowded great equipment and great staff

Best gym in Rio Rancho or the city for that matter. Unfortunately, I had to cancel my membership for personal reasons because I felt extremely uncomfortable after being addressed about an erroneous complaint from another patron. I probably won't get a refund on the unused portion of my 13 month membership of $536.13 or training package which I paid $836 for. I didn't spend $1,400 to do what I was accused of. I will say that the trainers are top notch and the amount of equipment is unreal. I have never seen a gym with so much wonderful and state of the art equipment. Plus the management plays hard rock over the music system which I loved! I learned so much from Coach Clarissa. I will take the knowledge I learned from her to the next gym.

Just finished my first tour and workout of this gym and it is top notch! The staff that I met today were extremely professional and welcoming. As I toured the facility it was very evident that cleanliness and maintenance were of the highest priority. This extended from the gym area to the locker rooms and restrooms. The workout are.is very well spaced allowing for comfortable workouts even during the highest traffic hours. Whatever your workout consists of, they have the equipment to take.it to another level. The gym includes a daycare for patrons to bring their children to and enjoy while they workout. It took only one workout for me to identify this as my primary workout location for the foreseeable future. If you have a chance drop by and validate what I just experienced.

Called to get information about personal training. Told the lady that answered the phone I was interested in 2-3 times per week and she gave me package information then told me she would have someone call me back "in a few days." I was a bit frustrated because I was hoping to start sooner rather than later but assumed it was customary. Well it's been a few weeks and I haven't heard from anyone. Made arrangements with another facility - who, BTW, had a trainer call me back that same day and started that same week.

I have been emailing Elite since February to cancel one of my memberships on my family account and they have just ignored me. At I went in to the gym and they said they only can cancel memberships via email. Then finally they responded about 2 or 3 weeks ago for proof of the communications I sent so I sent them all of them. Now the are ignoring me again. In the communication in April I asked for all of my memberships to be canceled if this is how they are going to do business. The reason I am giving a one star is that I just got charged again for the memberships I canceled in February. Don't trust this company they won't stop charging you if you want to cancel.
