If your doctor can't even make it the appointment time what's the point in making an appointment. This is not the first time I've been waiting but it's the first time my provider missed the appointment all together. I guess there is a reason people give such bad reviews about this place. I think it's time they look into their business model and the providers they employ. Absolutely unacceptable for a patient with severe mental health issues should have to deal with this. Back on the hunt for a New Provider.

When I wrote my last review it was based on the past I had no idea how they had changed. This place has gone to hell since Dr Sher left. I had asthma attacks some kind of health thing almost a year ago two weeks in a row. I had to cancel quickly and you don't get 24 hours notice of a health crisis. My life was in flux at that point wasn't sure about how to pay for future appointments. I cancelled my regular appointment to give other people a chance to get in, and they are holding that against me as well. They won't let me have regular appointments. The Disability Judge said my counselor there wasn't qualified. He knows it, he knows how to do it, and he won't do it. He's had a couple of years to step up and hasn't done it.Good luck

THE WORST!!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!!!! My doctor of 4 years moved to another state so I needed a new one here for medication management. I was referred to Elemental Health and to Dr. Stephen Oravec. I had one 40-minute video session with him. He saw that I am on 3 Anti-Anxiety medications, one Mood Stabilizer, and one for Panic Attacks. Without asking me any questions about my background/ history and why I've been taking these medications for the past 13 years, Dr. Stephen Oravec decided to take me off all 5 medications and put me on just "Cymbalta," which is an Anti-Depressant, saying that "Cymbalta will take care of everything."... Okay, let's review... during our FIRST session, Dr. Oravec decided to TAKE ME OFF ALL 5 ANTI-ANXIETY medications and PUT ME ON ONE ANTI-DEPRESSANT. What the?? He must be getting some kick-back (payment from the pharmaceutical company for prescribing "Cymbalta") because "Cymbalta" was literally almost every other word out of his mouth. He cannot possibly tell me that for the past 13 years, 4 well-established, highly-recommended, Top-Notch psychiatrists in NY, AZ, and NM are wrong in their diagnoses and medication treatments. I think someone needs to go back to medical school.

We went to this facility for my husband after his former provider retired. The front desk staff was incompetent. After scheduling an appointment for two months out -- they called a couple of days prior to the appointment to say they wouldn't take him because he had Medicare. The reality is that we have private insurance, Medicare is just thrown in because he is disabled, but it is secondary and we've never even used it. Then, the waiting room was tiny and crowded. While recognizing that this is a place for those with behavioral and mental health issues, having several people with different issues/triggers all together mixed with unruly children/adolescents is not conducive to an inviting environment. We sat out in the hall. The "vitals" they take were not taken correctly, so basically useless, but then they rely on those skewed results to "diagnose" things like hypertension that are not really present and have not been noted by your primary care physician. The doctor was rushed, condescending, and certainly not empathetic. She didn't re-evaluate his medications or suggest alternatives though it was clear he was unstable and needed treatment. She just gave referrals for therapy and testing and made his continued care contingent on completing those referrals. She disrespected our former provider, and discounted any previous diagnosis due to her preconceived opinion of his care. I am a very involved, highly intelligent individual. I couldn't run out of there fast enough.

Front office staff are wonderful and nice. Always try to get you an answer to questions and get you a convenient appointment. Staff Psychologists, Social Workers, Counselors and Psychiatrists are very knowledgeable and can handle everything! They even have groups.

Absolute garbage service, from front end to back.I was seeing a therapist through this service and was denied service after missing appointments.I have now, more than a year later, received billing from them, insisting that I continue paying for what was sub-par service a year earlier. Fuck this company.

My experience at first was great. I recently moved from out of state, and I had new insurance that I was struggling to find a place that accepted it and new patients. I found this place and filled out the appropriate forms. They reached out and got me scheduled for a zoom appointment.Unfortunately, I messed up. I accidentally put in my Google calendar that the appointment was an hour later than scheduled. I didn't realize this until I was waiting patiently in the Zoom room for 15-20 minutes waiting for the provider to show up.I immediately called the front desk to let them know of my mistake and reschedule. I was told because I no called/no showed, they would no longer accept me as a patient at all.I reiterated that it was an honest mistake. I offered to take a screenshot of my Google calendar. I let them know I waited several weeks for this appointment and I'm running low on my prescription, and I just need it filled. The person I spoke to on the phone was kind and seemed to understand my predicament, but kept repeating that this was their policy and there was nothing they could do.So now I have to start my search all over as the number of pills in my current prescription keeps dwindling.Overall, this was a very disappointing experience. I find their policy to be unfair, unkind, and not at all up to the standards of a modern healthcare provider.I admit that I made a mistake, but the lack of flexibility from them is pretty astonishing. I hope they change this policy or accommodate some flexibility for patients (even if the flexibility is just, y'know, allowing them to reschedule).UPDATE: They called me back today to reschedule for an appointment in a few days, which I really appreciate. The person I spoke with initially on the phone appeared to have advocated on my behalf, which was really kind of her.

I had an upsetting visit this week. The office personnel said since I was over 5 mins. late my appointment would be rescheduled. I was 7 minutes late. I live out of town and cannot control the traffic. I have been late only 2 or 3 times and it is not my habit nor intentional. The office attendant was unkind to me and wouldn't listen to reason. If they are in business to help mentally ill people it doesn't make sense to run patients off. However my CNP who does my evaluations and meds called me and said she will look into it and not be hasty in quitting her services and she will help with the situation. My Psych-CNP is wonderful. I recommend her to everyone. But the people manning the desk ought to be more considerate of patients feelings. Most employees have been very helpful and nice until this week.
