Eldora Chocolate

This is one of my favorite places in town. It's a little out of the way, so people have to plan to go there, meaning that there's seldom crowds. The chocolate is outstanding and o really love their drinking chocolates. Great place for a get together with girlfriends or parent-child time.

Don't sleep on Eldora Chocolate. As others have said, Eldora is in a completely different category from other chocolate companies in New Mexico. While a chocolatier typically makes chocolate confections from purchased pre-processed chocolate, Eldora makes the chocolate itself. If that sounds interesting, I highly encourage you to take the tour, which goes through the entire process and ends with chocolate-tasting.

OMG, what I didn't know about authentic chocolate!!! All these years of chocolate consumption and I feel like all was wasted after going through the tour of Eldora Chocolate and their chocolate making process. This is the real stuff from authentic chocolate bean growers. Even if you don't take the tour, try their chocolate. Even a taste testing and you'll know the difference between drug store filler candy and the real thing.

So amazing! Just walking in, the scent of chocolate welcomes and prepares you. The drinking chocolate is great, and the iced option is perfect for summer weather.My wife had the caramel truffle, and I had the bourbon. The bourbon truffle had a little bite to it.

It was my first time visiting this shop and I must say I was impressed!! First of all, it is locally owned. The shop offers a variety of chocolate items including hot and cold chocolate drinks, fudges, chocolate bars and much more. I am also impressed by the offers of some vegan chocolate items in the shop.My fiends and I plan to do the chocolate factory tour with them soon!

Fantastic chocolate AND amazing customer service? Nirvana! I needed a Halloween sweet for my recently relocated family member to ABQ. No ordinary chocolate would suffice. Yelp steered me to Eldora. I reached out via email late one evening and received a prompt and courteous response from Steve. I placed my order that night & family member was surprised & thrilled with surprise. I get calls describing the great flavors. I'm thinking it's a not so subtle hint of what to get next time! Looking forward to checking out Eldora next time I'm in ABQ & they have my gift giving business for life!

There are several chocolate shops in Albuquerque making their own chocolate, but Eldora is the best. They make single origin chocolate bars in addition to flavored bars, truffles, milkshakes, and drinking chocolate. Employees were very helpful and offered samples when I walked in and started browsing. So far I've had the truffles, some of the flavored bars, and several of the single origin bars and everything is fantastic! My favorite flavored bar is the vanilla pink salt. You can taste the subtle difference in the single origin chocolates and my favorite is Venezuela Chuao. Definitely the go to spot for high end chocolate! I haven't yet had the sipping chocolate, but there are a few small tables and chairs for sitting to enjoy the drinks.

I live in Houston, Texas, and my daughter moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico in October. Based on a coworker's recommendation, she suggested Smallcakes, and I ordered a cake for her. The price, delivery cost, and presentation were all very reasonable, and the cake was absolutely delicious!Thanks Nicole!

Customer service is top notch! Lots of variety and so many choices to make. As I was finding it difficult to round out my bars and truffles I asked what their top seller was? They responded that's tough! A customer jumped in and recommended the lavender truffle. What a delight! Glad I got to try that one.
