Best molcajete ever! The main reason we go here every few months. Super friendly staff. (I don't recommend the beans.) Stick to the seafood meals and you won't be disappointed. If you don't like authentic Sinaloense Mexican food with staff being Spanish speaking only, then this is not the place for you. If you want American typical favorite Mexican meals then stick to the restaurants aimed for tourists.

This place offers the best Sinaloa-style seafood in town. I recommend starting with a dozen of raw oysters or with a queso fundido first. Los Aguachiles are their signature dish consisting of raw fish, shrimp, and octopus cooked in lime in a very spicy sauce, I recommend the molcajete (more bang for your buck). This is synonymous with menudo as a cure for a hangover and probably healthier. On Sundays, El Compa Dimas will be there singing some corridos to complement your afternoon. Salucita!

Bienvenido a México! El Zarandeado is a great Mexican Seafood restaurant in the South Valley of Albuquerque. You MUST try the Seafood Molcajete, loaded with tilapia, camarones, and pulpo. Superb. And be sure to have a horchata.

today i had the worst experience at this place , not only was the old lady arguin with me and telling me what i need to do when i order food in other restaurants , she also made fun of me and talked about me to other costumers , i been coming to this restaurant every year im in town with my man and i always bring lots of people from work they consume and spend money here every day for 10 days , because food is good , but it really ruins it when we get disrespected and punked. i ordered something ans it they serve me something else that i didnt wanted i send it back and they still want me to pay for it , the lady keept telling me that i have to pay for what i order regardless and that thats how it is in all restaurants . mam keep your comments to yourself and do your job. senora grocera

A few days ago I was hungry but didn't know what I wanted so I started driving around looking for inspiration and I saw this parking lot that was packed so I thought what the heck I'll give it a try. I am sure glad I did this place is like being transported a few hundred miles south and into Mexico. The first thing that struck me as being like Mexico is the band playing at volumes much higher than most Americans are accustomed to but like every place I've ever been in Mexico. The second thing that made me feel like I was in Mexico is the base that one of the bandmembers was playing was clearly crafted from plywood and homemade. It was so wonderful to see the creativity I've always seen this in Mexico and admire people's ability to adapt. The clientele all appeared to be Mexicans which for me is a good sign if I am wanting Mexican food. Unfortunately my Spanish is pretty poor and my waitresses English was equally as poor but we managed to work it out and I got some wonderful tacos and a tostada de ceviche that was wonderful. I will definitely be back. the only word of caution I would have would be if you're wanting to have a lot of dinner conversation this might not be the best choice because of the volume of the band playing in the background was so loud I could hardly order much less carry on a dinner conversation. But if you're wanting to feel like you're in Mexico and have a really good meal this is the place to go

we asked for a table for 11 people not knowing they closed an a hour and we were told No in the rudest way possible. We were told by the cook in the back that we were to many people and she wasn't going to deal with us ordering multiple different meals. i total understand not wanting to seat a big table a few minutes before closing but they still had a bit over an hour before closing which i think is absurd. Also there is a way to say no. the way we were addressed was beyond unprofessional and rude. safe to say we will not be going back.

i got togo food l. When asking for a side of shrimp to go with a plate I wanted the lady just pointed around the menu at combination plates. It was terrible. the rice was soggy and the beans were super runny. i noted that the people in the restaurant had good looking food and what i received didn't compare to what they had. the lady that was originally helping us left mid sentence and the other lady started to help us. she wasn't helpful at all and the food didn't even look appetizing. on top that the to go box has scratches in it like it was used previously 0/10.
