Best burritos and churros. Reasonable prices and good service. Our favorite place for take-out.

We were in White Rock to get library cards. Long story, but if you live in NM, you should definitely do that...So we needed lunch and thought we'd go to Pig and Fig, but it was closed while they fixed the air conditioning. Just next door was El Rigoberto's. I had the carne asada fries, which were well done. The fries were hot and not greasy. The carne was not too fatty. I enjoyed the generous helping of guacamole. It's kind of hard to work in presentation of what's essentially a deconstructed burrito with fries, but I didn't concern myself with that. It hot I'm the spot. My wife said her two veggie tacos were "amazing." Next time we're in White Rock, maybe we'll get to Ping and Fig, but probably we'll be at Rigoberto's again.

There really isn't much of a choice for food services in white Rock. After visiting the area we decided to get lunch before driving back to Albuquerque. Tacos seemed a safe bet so we gave it a try. The building is apparently an old Pizza Hut building and I think it still sports some of the original interior. Can't speak to the burritos but they did look good. We both ordered ground beef crispy tacos. Service was quick and friendly. The tacos seemed to have been made by frying fresh tortillas with a bit of ground beef in them. Really crispy, not greasy, and seasoned adequately. Basically middle of the road tacos. Not bad-not great. I prefer the tacos at el parasol in Los Alamos. If I'm back in the area I would give them another go and try the burritos.

Get the mixed burrito... it does not disappoint. I get this every time but I'm sure their other food is good to. But seriously get the mixed burrito- you can thank me later.

We have been looking forward to visiting the Los Alamos area with our son's family for several years as they live in Albuquerque, and my wife and I are in Florida. So when we arrived in White Rock, I was surprised by how small the town was. We took our grandsons for supper, and I was not expecting much. However, the old saying, "Don't judge a book by the cover," holds true for this Toco restaurant. The food is first class as well as authentic Mexican. Do yourself a favor and make sure you give them a try.

With limited choices in White Rock, we stopped in for dinner here. Good selection of food but not up to par with what we were expecting. Just a so-so place. Lots of people were ordering take out so they do seem to have a good following.

Got there at lunch time. Parking lot was full of construction workers trucks. Good sign. Food was delicious. Order to take out or eat in. Order at counter and they bring it to your table. Wide variety and all five of us got something different and everything was good. Only draw back is is that it looks like it is in old Pizza Hut with no A/C or ceiling fall. Wasn't terrible but warm and stuffy.
