Damn good burritos (chile Relleno).... Wish they opened earlier, but great spot for lunch

I'm a long time fan of the Los Alamos location. I was excited one opened on Santa Fe as I spend more time there. Went through the drive-thru and ordered carne asada fries with red sauce (it comes on the side). Presentation was good, price was decent. Taste wise, it wasn't the same as what I was used to at the Los Alamos location, to be fair I haven't been up there in quite a while so it may be different now. Not bad but not great. Service was good.

The quality of the food is phenomenal, service is excellent and prompt, and the price is great. It's not pretentious or fancy, but who needs a chandelier when you eat a burrito? The employees have been wonderful too. We just went through the drive-through this morning and when I asked that my niece's sausage burrito have lite chile inside, the young man who served us took the time to offer it on the side as he thought it might be too spicy for her -and he was right! She was glad to be able to dole out exactly the right amount for herself. It was perfect for the grown-ups and their chorizo breakfast burritos, though. I didn't take better pictures because it smelled (and tasted) too good to stop eating for more than one or two bites. A real gem; don't miss it!

Mex Tex food lovers rejoice! El Rigoberto's is the best spot in Santa Fe for your early morning or late night craving for some fresh delicious burritos, tacos, or chile relllenos. Workers were nice and friendly, communicated well about their offerings and were patient with me deciding on what I wanted. The best bang for your buck in town, hands down. So whether you're looking for a quick bite or a family dinner, El Rigoberto's is a must-visit. Amazing food, great prices, and excellent service--I can't wait to come back and try something new.
