El Molcajeton

I went for a late lunch in the middle of the week. It's a little hard to find this place on your first visit, but if you have outback as a landmark, you'll find it right away. I was greeted warmly by the staff, and seated immediately. The menu is extensive. I went for food from the menu, but they do have a large seafood buffet. I had shrimp tacos, and was pleasantly surprised that the tacos were just a tortilla and shrimp. See photo. The chips and salsa were excellent. There was a young man, singing, solo, accompanied by a music box. Prices are good, I'm taking into account and bringing seafood in will have higher acquisition cost than other foods.

The food was so so. Our friends ordered a "cóctel" shrimp and he got food poisoning for a week. The hats where they put the chips are dirty. The food we got was ok. It was our first time. Customer service was excellent the two waitresses were very kind and attentive. The food was just not something to go back to.

Went there to celebrate my dad's birthday last weekend. Unfortunately, their liquor license is suspended so there wasn't any beer or margaritas. We did have their guacamole and their chips and salsa/bean dip are really good. Their service was excellent and the restaurant is very festive and fun. We ended up leaving and going to Outback next door so that we could order drinks. Hopefully they get their license back soon as they did say it was hurting business. I'd go back to try more of their menu.

Ordered takeout about one hour before closing. When I went to pick it up, the hostess had my order ready! This restaurant has a huge and open floor plan. However, it was empty. This is definitely a go to spot if you are a fan of Mexican seafood!

We came here after getting positive reviews from family members and were sorely disappointed. The chips were good and served in a little sombrero. The salsa and pico were lackluster. They also served some bean dip with cheese which was very average. The molcajete was served boiling hot and it looked impressive at first. The broth flavor was great, but the fish was cooked so poorly. First, the various types of fish besides the octopus and shrimp were completely unidentifiable because it was over cooked. The scallops and whitefish basically disintegrated immediately and became indistinguishable from the mussels. The octopus was rubbery. The shrimp was good though. There was not a crab claw to be found despite what the menu said... instead a sad little lobster tail took its place. My dad ordered the fried shrimp and it was also over cooked. The exterior looked like me at the end of the summer - much darker than expected. They didn't have lemons nor cocktail sauce. Despite the restaurant being mostly empty on a Saturday evening, the server rarely came over and barely demonstrated any English proficiency which wouldn't have been a problem if she had been able to answer basic questions about the ingredients. Disappointing experience. Will definitely not be back.

This place was ok. It's new. They can't sell alcohol yet. Service was nice and the food came very quickly on a slow Monday evening. The decor was ok. They have lots of sauces on the table to try. However, my tacos asada were very plain and so were the sides. And the taco plate wasn't advertised on the menu, only single tacos. I found out about the plate because I asked about sides. My partner said his molcajete was tasty. It stayed steaming hot to the last bite (as it should) and the chorizo in it was delicious. We paid less than $50 for the molcajete and tacos, and the chips and salsa that are served automatically, including tip, so you decide if that's priced right or not.

First time at this restaurant and loved the quality and freshness prepared seafood, reminded me of few other seafood Mexican restaurants scattered around town offer their version of Mexican seafood.Because we tried numerous dishes, some were better than others and could be their recipe,shrimp cocktail was good but not outstanding because the juice was a little too watery.However,Most dishes that we tried definitely worth trying and much better. Note: what I look for with any restaurant, including new places, do they maintain consistency or see improvement on their dishes and menu.Would I return? the answer is yes, until they prove me wrong!

Food was so good. Service was lovely and ambiance was gorgeous and the staff was kind too me

Visited this restaurant on a Saturday for the first time they had unlimited crab legs and other dishes that were amazing. The waiters were very friendly and attentive the place was clean and comfortable. Would definitely be coming back overall 8.5/10

Excelente lugar, me encanta los buffet que tienen sábado de patitas de cangrejo y comida mexicana y china. Y el domingo delicioso buffet de desayuno con tortillas recién hechas y deliciosos guisos mexicanos Los precios razonables. Lo super recomiendo!
