El Mero Mero

Tasty food truck with uniquely flavored Mexican food. Happy to be able to enjoy their delicious food when I get the chance. Friendly person taking the orders and calling them out when they are ready. Good portions for the price. Their offerings are not at all like the other taco trucks around town, so it's nice to have variety, especially when they taste so good. The quesadillas are especially delicious with melted mozzarella cheese on their large corn tortillas, your choice of meat (my favorite is their suadero), and topped with lettuce, sour cream, and cotija cheese. They're usually set up sometime between 6 and 7pm, but sometimes they're not there, so it's always a gamble to head over to see whether they're out or not (definitely worth it though!). We also enjoy the elote (mexican street corn) and mango from the little food truck next to them, El Merito.

Came back years later, and El Mero Mero still doesn't miss! The pastor tacos grandes are some of the best in the game. You can also grab an elote, fresas con crema, or Dorilokos at El Mérito, a smaller truck next to El Mero Mero. If you haven't stopped by yet, what are waiting for?!

I LOVE THIS PLACE SO MUCH! The best Mexican food truck in Albuquerque in my opinion. This place is underrated in terms of Yelp reviews, but seems like a popular place among the local Mexican community. I got the tinga and asada sopes, and chicharron and pastor quesadillas. I have tried all the meats and the best meats in my opinion is asada and chicharron. Don't get me wrong all the meats are delicious and so juuuicy but these just stood out to me.Chicharron on the fattier side but I love it, especially with the green salsa which cuts through the fat because of its acidity, and the asada got a good meat flavor. There's a little cart next to it selling snacks and drinks. I got myself a large horchata and spicy Cheetos elotes.

Just driving down Carlisle on a late Friday night and happened to spot large groups and long lines at this taco truck. Boyfriend and I ordered al pastor and carne tacos, and waited an extensively longgg amount of time for our food, but the wait was SO worth it. Both meats were tasty and tender, and we devoured them quickly. My poorly taken photo doesn't even do the tacos justice. I'll be going back with plenty of cash in hand for more tacos and to try the elote!

Best tacos al pastor and Pambazos in town!!! Go early because they run out of food around 9 or 10.

I absolutely love this place. I stop by every time I am in town. My favorite thing to order is the chicharron tacos, mushroom quesadillas and longaniza tacos!

Looks are deceiving! This was great food from a rather unassuming looking little food truck in an old gas station. However, the parking lot was full and we really enjoyed the food. We ordered the grande tacos (asada) and taquitos (chicken tinga). Great flavor and very fresh!! Enjoyed it on our tailgate while we watched the sun set!

The food is ok but the menu is confusing I asked for one thing and was given another, it takes forever to receive the food the wait was around an hour and 10 minutes,and everything has potatoes the tacos the pambazos and personally you are paying for more potatoes than meat. I have tried it more than 3 times because maybe something else will be different but really nothing comes without square potatoes in it.

I can not express how delicious their food is. I had made it my mission to find the best taco truck in abq that wasn't white washed (no offense) and I have to say this is my favorite place to get tacos from. The flavor, the crunch, the toppings, the salsa. incredible. I am constantly craving the food from here and have to say it is the cutest little spot do not let the looks deceive you the people are incredibly sweet and I always look forward to coming back when they are open.
