Cons: Service is very very slow. Chips are stale and seem like they came out of a bag. Food is not impressive at all, might be the worst mexican I've even had in Las Vegas.Pros: Drinks are good! Go to drink but don't darn eat, not even chips and salsa, then you'll be happy. I'd say this is more of a bar, trying to do food.

We were traveling through from camping in the mountains. We wanted a good breakfast & Mexican food hits the spot always. Esther L. greeted us with a smile, quickly got our drink order, then gave us time to make our decision. She did a great job working the room, fulfilling everyone's needs quickly. This is a NEW Mexican food place, not TexMex. Both are good, but don't be confused when you go here. I had the Breakfast Smothered Burrito with sausage & Wife had 1/2 order of Huevos Rancheros, both were delicious. Wife tried my burrito & said she liked it more, but it was too big for her. The inside is a basic cafe not fancy, clean, & felt like down home. Place was most full of locals, not even needing the menu to order.Right down town in the square (really a circle). It was early morning so we found a place for our 30' RV on the other side of square by an closed building. If we had more time, would have hit the shops. If you like New Mexican food this place will be perfect.

Excellent food! I loved their green sauce but wasn't a huge fan of their red sauce. It wasn't bad but it wasn't as good as most the others I've had at good places around here.I had the Chile relleno combo plate and the relleno was excellent and very crispy and had a mixture I think of Mexican cheeses inside. the beans were excellent! The service was also amazing and the staff was all extremely friendly. I would definitely go back again.

Very friendly staff. The food is great and priced very well. The parking is a bit tight beings it's on the Plaza but it's worth looking for a parking spot.

We usually like where locals eat & certainly scored here. We felt like we were eating at our abuelas house. Good coffee & lots of it. The Spanish omelette was wonderful & served with perfect fried potatoes. The staff was wonderful--very attentive.

This hidden secret treasure needs to be discovered by any adventure travelers. Family run in the traditional manner--where the people who prepare your food are the same people whose names grace the single-page menu and take your order and clean the tables. You can taste the pride and care that they put into ownership in every bite, see it in every act and experience it in every interaction. And the locals know. Everyone knew everyone else in the, currently, nine-table establishment. They spoke to each other, to the owners and said hi to us as well. If you want to experience Las Vegas, NM, you need to take a seat at El Encanto, order a meal and savor the flavor of an amazing family and a vibrant community.

This restaurant is shut down. Building is empty, very disappointing as the ratings were so good.

Nice little family place on the square. Clean, and quiet. Service was impeccable. My chicken enchilada was so delicious. But my wife's beef brisket was even better! Good coffee, too. After lunch we took a nice stroll around the square.
