Ed helped us navigate the selling of our house in Albuquerque during the Covid-19 crisis.His communication was excellent and he didn't mind our volume of questions and phone calls.We could be considered relatively high maintenance and he guided us through the process patiently and professionally.I'd like to mention that he also sold us that same house back in 2008. We had probably looked at over 70 houses to find what we wanted and his approach allowed us to find what was truly right for our family. This guy cost me some serious money on both sides of the transaction. When representing me as a buyer he didn't request all the necessary inspections for the area. This resulted in the in ground ducts and sewer not being scoped. Turns out that the ducts in slab houses in Albuquerque are known to everyone but Ed Cohen as problematic. Now on the sales end we know, because we get to repair them before someone will purchase the house.We had him as a listing agent for a period of time before we recognized his poor skills. He was totally incompetent when it came to marketing and has limited written communication skills. If your house isn't getting marketed through virtual walk through tours, other forms of internet marketing and clean brochures you're going to have a heck of a time selling your house.Run, don't walk, from this guy, he'll cost you a lot of money.

This is the third time we have worked with Ed. His experience and professionalism made the process easy for us as we were not only selling but also moving out of state. He worked hard to get us the best price for our home and made sure everything that needed to be done got finished. He is willing to work hard to help his clients in every way. Can not recommend him enough.

Ed Cohen of Sandia Realty just helped our son with the purchase of his first home. Ed represented both our son (as his buyer's agent) and the seller. Though this situation can be tricky, with one realtor working on both sides of the transaction, our son and we felt that Ed did a great job in negotiating with the seller on our son's behalf, while simultaneously getting the home sold quickly for the seller. Ed worked with the loan officer, title company, and the Homeowner's Association to make sure everything was taken care of in time to meet the closing deadline, while working out some negotiation issues on both our son's side and the seller's side. Representing both parties undoubtedly takes good negotiation skills! Thanks, Ed! You did it! Our son is moving in as I type this! I don't know why Ed has the one bad review above, as Ed specifically asked us right up front what areas we wanted to be inspected and told us he would write them up as contigencies in our offer, which he did with no problems. When a potential deal-breaking roofing issue appeared, Ed worked with the roofer, the seller, our son, the loan officer, and the title company to get our son credit towards a new roof. So, Ed gets a thumbs up from us. Thanks for your patience and professionalism, Ed! We appreciate your help in making everything work and helping our son to become a homeowner.
