I Cannot give this company a high enough rating. The crew was the most prompt, courteous, hard working outfit I've delt with in years. The overall quality of the work was above and beyond and they left the surrounding area cleaner than when they arrived.Add to the fact that the pricing and quality of materials used far exceeded our expectations.If you're in need of a new roof or roof repair in the East Mountains, Call East Mountain Roofing, you will not be disappointed.

First rain since we moved in to our new East Mountain home and BOOM ... a leak. I've never had a metal roof, so I wanted to get someone out right away before the snow started. East Mountain Roofing was amazing. The scheduler I spoke with was SO flippin NICE and helpful. They were able to come out a few days later and Joe not only fixed my roof in the same day (proof in that I had no more leaked during the next storm). Joe also checked out the rest of my roof and told me all about the care and feeding of a metal roof in the East Mountains. I will defiantly be having them out next year for an annual maintenance call. Highly recommend. I love it when customer service shines through in a business. It's truly refreshing.

This is an amazing company. Every employee of EMR that I've encountered has been extraordinarily professional, friendly, and helpful. We had a roof that had extensive hail damage. I'm grateful, actually, because the roof and gutters look far better than they ever did before, now that EMR replaces them. They came when they said they would, took care of everything in a timely manner, and did excellent work.

Quotes a simple routine roof maintenance job @ FOUR hours.Tech arrives with materials and does the job in TWO hours.Owner still wants FOUR hours price and tries to justify the gouging by saying they had to get the materials... caulk and paint and that he had to pay his estimator to do the FREE estimate on the job. If they don't have the materials then why are they in the business? If the estimates are free then why is he owner hiding a charge in the job for the free estimate?Owner wants to charge for labor and a profit on the supplies and that's fair but wanting to charge for time to pick up routine supplies that they should have in stock to do the job they quoted is ridiculous.We compromised at only a moderate gouging, but I'll never do business with East Mountain Roofing again.Lesson learned... trying to support local businesses is not always the best choice.Shop around...

I appreciate the very professional & personal service from EMR. From the first phone call through the final inspection every aspect of the job and employees were top notch. I highly recommend this company.

Do not use this company, Daniel is the owner and his team caused so much damage while working. A job that was scheduled to take 4 weeks is now into 4 months. Gutters leak, windows scratched and screens torn from them dropping the metal roofing. Landscaping destroyed, bricks on my back patio broken and overspray from them painting edging without a drop cloth. Damage to out stucco, this has truly been a nightmare. If you want a crappy job done then use him, otherwise I would look for a different roofing contractor!

We've used East Mountain Roofing twice -- once to inspect our roof before purchase, and a couple years later for a minor repair. First, let me say that Daniel Kniffen (owner) was great to work with. He especially made it easy when we were out of state and couldn't be present at our 2016 pre-purchase inspection. He sent us photos of what he saw and a helpful report on the roof's condition. He found a fairly small issue and we had him do the minor repair at that time to give us peace of mind in buying the home. Fast forward two years (and a couple icy winters under our belt) and we had a small leak. I called EMR and was greeted by a very friendly voice (their office staff is so pleasant and helpful), she got us scheduled after asking questions to assess the situation. Once on the roof, EMR found a minor issue (different area than the first time), and was able to complete work that day. I don't think they are the cheapest, but you get what you pay for, so I'd rather pay for the expertise and a job 'done right' the first time. And, EMR is locally-owned and operated, and hires local people which is another real positive to us.
