My 2 granddaughters started taking gymnastics class here last night. They loved every minute and did not want to leave after the hours class was up. The younger one enjoyed the warm up exercises, tumbling, walking forward and back on the low balance beam and swinging on the rings.. They played Duck, Duck, Goose to wrap up the class. My older one did warm up stretching exercises, and hanging on the horizontal bar, some tumbling, and then the high balance beam. She was in a class with students that had more experience, so she was eager to emulate what they were doing and watching the older much advanced girls doing the floor exercises.Friday nights will never be the same and we will listen all week, to how many days it will be until the next gymnastics class.

Initial review: the blonde lady at the front wasnt exactly the friendliest of faces. Being a new parent there, a friendlier greeting probably wouldve made this a 5 star. I have to admit that I felt a little discouraged at the beginning. I had a *GASP* groupon to try this place out for a month and I felt like we were looked down upon because we weren't paying customers at that time. I do have to say though that the coach was amazing with these kids. Very patient and communicative with both the students and Parents.Fast forward a couple of weeks:The girl in the front has a better disposition. Maybe she was just having a moment so I will not hold a grudge. We all have those moments. My daughter is absolutely looking forward to class each week. She even asked to continue coming here because she loves it. She had learned so much over the past few weeks and is eager to come home and practice what she's been taught. There are a ton of children of all ages, and even though it may look chaotic from the outside looking in, it is completely an organized mess. Everything runs exactly how it should. Kudos!

Not sure about this gymnastics place. First off, it is not run very well, probably because it is run by a bunch of high school students. Many times no one answers the phone during business hours and if you leave a message they don't call you back. My older daughter is very shy and on her first day they didn't even introduce themselves. They also throw the kids right in even if they haven't had any experience which was disconcerting as my 7 year old was supposed to be doing handstands on her first day even though she never did one before. I feel like they need to talk to the kids to ensure what they know or don't know to make it safer for sure. My older daughter stopped going because it just isn't the right place for a shy kid so if your child is shy or introverted I would try another gymnastics spot. Also if you're just looking for your kid to have fun and get some exercise this is probably not the spot either as they seem to be more focused on competitions and such. My youngest daughter currently goes there right now but mostly because her best friend goes there and she happens to have one of the only teachers I feel like is super friendly and actively working consistently. A lot of the times I see other teachers talking to each other, on their cell phones, or eating doughnuts when they are teaching class...She does love going so that of course what matters most. Like I said, her coach is great but I don't understand some of the customer service issues they have or why they don't have training for their coaches to do basic teaching skills like introduce themselves and ask the kids safety questions. It's $75 a month for a class each week so it's a pretty big investment for a lot of people that go there.

Do not send your daughter here for competitive teams! After spending thousands of dollars here over the last 4 years the owners decided that we were no longer a fit for their gym because we asked if the coach of our daughters competitive team (who had no experience coaching) needed some help. They obviously cannot handle any feedback and took this as an attack on their gym. They said we were a "plague" on their gym, were "bit%hing", and that my daughters team "means less to us then t-ball". We had been told by several people that this was a "boy centric" gym for a long time but I never understood until now that "boy centric" meant the girl's teams were completely insignificant. Bottom line - if you send your kids here, be prepared to sign your check and shut your mouth - feedback is not allowed.

I love this place. I have six kids and the staff knows me by name. The coaches are great for both boys and girls. If you want good structure and for your kids to learn this place is for you.

Fun! Non- competitive class for my 9 year old. Coaches are friendly - routine sporadic. Evaluations are done frequently to keep kids within level of their abilities.

Our granddaughter has gone here for nearly a year and due to the great staff, she has learned so much in that short time. She truly enjoys coming. ERG has great experienced instructors who are very competent and also encouraging. We look forward to attending her weekly classes, and enjoyed her first competition. We would gladly recommend ERG to others.

Both of my kids LOVE LOVE LOVE Eagle Ridge Gymnastics. The gym is loaded with great equipment for the wee ones to the advanced gymnasts. The staff is talented and attentive and we couldn't be happier!

My daughter attended this gymnastics for about 4 months. At first she absolutely loved it. She had made friends and was thoroughly enjoying the program. After a time, it was noticeable that her disability was getting in the way of her progressing as fast as the other children. She had trouble with absorbing the multiple steps and the coordination required. The staff seemed to have notice this as well. She started hearing the staff talking about her lack of progress and saying she shouldn't be in gymnastics. From the beginning, I noticed that most of the staff was immature and behaved like older siblings rather than mentors. They were often gabbing with each other and sitting down rather than assisting the students. As such I had no reason to doubt her in this. While I couldn't hear them from where I was sitting, I definitely noticed that the staff stopped providing her any one on one guidance anymore, almost as though they had given up on her. The only time I saw the staff give her any attention in the last two weeks of her attendance was to scold her. This was crushing to my 7 year old and even though she loved gymnastics she no longer felt like it was a safe place and an enjoyable activity. Now I see your program and the encouraged competition you promote. I see the kiddos moved from one class to another and fighting each other to do so. Even though we have to pay for an extra month due to their policy, which I find absolutely ludicrous due to the circumstances, my daughter will no longer be attending their program. I find it appalling that something that is supposed to be a safe and and enjoyable way to have fun after a long day of school is so poorly managed. As a local community leader, I will no longer be recommending their gymnastics to people who ask.
