Since my previous review, I have continued to experience horror stories with Eagle Point Apartments and their capitalist greed machine parent company Greystar.Greystar gratuitously increased their rents by up to 25% with no promise of improvements to service or capital improvements. The roads are a pothole haven! My neighbor could no longer afford her one bedroom so I told her I was moving and offered her my studio. When we went to the office to seal the deal, the increase of rent on my studio was still too much for her budget. She will soon be couch surfing.Greystar considers their exorbitant rents a badge of honor - just following the market pigs!Greystar assured us that they would let us know if they rented our apartment so that they could reimburse us for some of the rent. They assured us that they would immediately let us know if tenants moved in.Our friendly former neighbors advised us that our apartment had been occupied by new tenants for several days. When we called Greystar, they did not apologize. They told us they would mail a check. They would not direct deposit into our checking account. More opportunity for Greystar to double dip and make additional interest! After a month, Greystar engaged in some financial retribution by sending us a gratuitous bill that included picayune charges for a light bulb that went bad. They also added an extra charge based on their new gouging rent schedule! So mean. So petty. So outrageous. We have made a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau seeking a reconciliation with the unfair consumer practices used by Greystar.Avoid Eagle Point apartments and Greystar if you can as they are a corporate greed machine that shovels money to their shareholders at the expense of tenants! Pathetic.

Place is terrible. All the reviews from a year ago are accurate. There's barely any lighting in the rooms and it smells terrible. Everyone breaks lease rules and I kept getting woken up by yelling and gunshots. Even the management team starts shit. It's just not worth it to live here. Broke my lease to go live at Glo. Run by Greystar, but diff people. Love it there.

Covid 19 pandemic excuse to Rip Off- Wanted to move her because it is across the street from collage I attend. Was told I couldn't view apartment because of covid 19 precautions. Was a little questionable at that point but continued process anyway. Was told I could use unemployment as income (I work part time at the moment at employer I've worked at for 3+ years. Because they didn't get complete employment information within 24hrs they refuse to give refund for $100 fee to hold apartment. I spoke to Nessa who stated because my unemployment ends in March it can not be used as income. Asked for money back and was again told another BS excuse that I said I made more then I do! Save your money, this place is a rip off!.

These apartments put on a very clever show but it's a facade. As a first time apartment owner I was mislead and lied to about the quality of these apartments. My current here apartment is roach infested and started happening within the first month of moving in. They crawl in our sinks, dish cabinets and oven. I have had "pest control" come to my apartment 8 times now. And it won't be the last. Not sure what "solution" their spraying but I'm sure it's equivalent to water. We were told that even if there is an infestation, that they would not cancel the lease and you would have to buy it out in order to leave. Simply put, we are being informed that we will have to live with the roaches until our lease is up. This roach problem is a weekly thing here. Not safe for kids, pets or adults for health issues. Roaches are all over the complex and leasing has done nothing about it. Leasing has started ignoring our requests to have our apartment taken care of for repairs and roaches. They say they'll get back to you and the assistant property manager has other things to do than respond to tenants. The front desk people only care about trying to keep you there and not providing any solutions or accommodations to you as a tenant. They lied about rent increasing after the first two months of living here. It doesn't state anywhere in the lease that it would do that. There is no on site security, homeless people take shelter in the "locked" laundry rooms. People have overdosed here in the surrounding apartment buildings, apartments have been broken into quiet easily, gunshots are fired off frequently either in the surrounding neighborhood or here in the complex. Police are called every other week and they once came in with guns drawn to an apartment close to mine. Once again leasing does nothing about this. They expect you as a tenant to make a change to make them look nice. Please do not rent from these people. I don't want anyone else having to be lied to or not appreciated as a paying tenant and having their needs neglected like mine.

While the staff was friendly, that is the only good thing about these apartments. I have rooms in my 2 bed that do not receive air, even though maintenence has come out to look at them. Water is shut off almost monthly for one reason or another. My partner's car was broken into twice, they made a big deal about repaving and fixing pot holes in the lot that reappeared two weeks later. Communal driers are hit or miss and it is a waste to pay an additional 1.80 for a second dry. My living room ceiling started leaking the Saturday of Christmas and is still leaking even though they claim to have had roofers fix the leak. Maybe that is why I haven't heard anything from maintenence about fixing the interior of the apartment, which now has very obvious water damage. Windows won't lock and the door can be so fickle that you have to body slam it one week then struggle to keep it closed to lock the next. I cannot get out of here faster.

DO NOT LIVE HERE - Water gets turned off almost once every two weeks. Management never gives written notice of the water shut offs. They always claim their systems to be down, which is why they are unable to provide written notice. Although, legally they are required to notify people of when the water will be turned off. When I moved in, the dishwasher was leaking and rusty on the inside. When I pulled out my "clean" dishes, they'd have brown gunk on them and brown water on the inside of the washer. I notified maintenance and they said they'd be back to fix it but never came back and closed my maintenance ticket. I told management several times they did not come back and it was never fixed but nothing ever happened. I've lived here for a year without being able to use the dishwasher. There's lots of room for people's dogs to use the bathroom, however, nobody ever cleans up after their dogs. Most of the time there are piles of dog poop on the sidewalk. There's trash everywhere. People leave beer bottles and beer cans laying around, which never get picked up. There are small recycling bins but they are always full so I end up throwing my recyclables into the trash. The main pool was left uncovered over the winter. It filled up with trash and other debris. They started cleaning it a few months ago but now it's almost July and the pool is still not open. Its turned into an eye sore the past couple months. There's bags of trash thrown around the pool and brown gross water inside of the pool. There are two working laundry buildings on site. The washers are nice and some of the dryers work. The site uses a secondary vendor for their laundry machines, like a card system but its always down so half the time, people are unable to do their laundry. There are cockroaches and other bugs everywhere. Inside my apt and out.Expect to pay about $50 in extra fees per month, on top of your rent, but don't expect an explanation of what the charges cover. They'll show up on your bill like: Pest Control - $18; Recycling - $12With all that being said, when I received my offer to renew my lease, it went up $300. Month to month went up $500. Do not live here!

We moved here fromOregon for a job. Unfortunately , we had to find a place sight unseen and within a 2 month time frame. We picked Eagle Point because of location and the staff we dealt with. Upon arriving we have had nothing but issues. Cockroaches, electrical issues, leaks, dog crap everywhere. The pool is black and disgusting. The laundry room is always a mess and the card reader you have to use to actually do your laundry is always broken. The staff is nice and the maintenance team is always helpful but the owners refuse to put money into the property unless it is so dire it has to get fixed. Even then the fix jobs from outside companies are less then adequate. Can't wait to move out of this place.

Monique and Heavenly have both equally been very helpful and responsive to my questions and maintenance needs. Both ladies have remarkably gone above and beyond and I felt that it needs to be recognized. I would recommend Eagle Point based upon the service these two provide. This review easily spans the months of March thru May 2023. Chris W
