AKA "P Patch" is a beautiful trail located in the tranquility of South Valley farms. Durand Open Space is located on what once was an alfalfa farm and landing strip for single and twin engine airplanes. Keypoints:Never crowded (well maybe after my review)Bring the fur babies and enjoy a strollBring yourself and meditate Bring your family and enjoy time togetherThere are NO RESTROOMS or any other facilities available However, benches and a few picnic tables are available should you wish to take a moment and enjoy the view Oh, I saw people in the water attempting to fish. Yes, there's water when the City opens the acequias to bring water into the communities.Best time to visit is dusk or dawn. But of course, anytime is the best time. Enjoy!
