I saw Dr. Whiting and he was fantastic. He was reassuring and really helpful. I'm not sure why this location has such bad reviews. The staff was kind, courteous, and even funny when I needed it most. You need some humor when you aren't feeling well. I do kind of think that people who are actively coughing in the lobby should probably stay in their cars until the staff is ready to see them. I think this place serves a very important purpose, is much needed, and is very helpful for people who don't need to go to overburdened ERs but can't get in with their PCP for some reason, or have needs that are more urgent than PCP but do not know if they need an ER.

Walked in shortly after 10am the front desk girls were very nice very cheerful. I only had to wait maybe 10 minutes before they called me back I had fractured my hand. They took me back for an x-ray and made a splint for me. The doctor came in to see me was really nice and I was on my way, I would definitely give them five stars more if I could they're very friendly and very efficient and the office is super clean.

This is one of the worst urgent cares I've had to deal with. I had an appt on 1/14 at 3:20 and they're information says to show up 15 minutes early. I checked in at 2:58 and never got taken care until 4:45 pm. The doctor I saw was thru video and said they'd get my prescription over to my pharmacy in 45 minutes. We went to the pharmacy an hour and a 15 minutes later and it never got called in. My wife and myself have called 4 times to Duke City and they say they can't get a hold of the provider who saw me and can't give me any prescription until they talk to them. I thought that you guys sent it yesterday, it's our 5th time calling in, I've been on hold trying to get my prescription sent. If you want crap service and where no one cares this is the place for you. Your better off staying home because this place won't take care of you, I'm surprised this place is still in business.

Got here at 9:00am when it opend. And waited until 9:50 to be seen. But mind you! There were 14 other people in front of me. So I think that it was really good timing and great service. The staff were great respectful and very professional in every way. Thank you all for your time and hospitality today

Front desk triage sucks, they just let hypertensive stage 2 people sit around with lightheadedness, dizziness, blurred vision and lumbar pain. I haven't been able to more than a couple hours a nights for the last 5 days. Waiting in the front now for an hour with no estimate on time to be seen. They are so gossipy at the front desk when they are not answering the telephone or in-taking patients. I heard their opinions on supervisors at two locations and about a woman patient who was found in the break room rummaging through employee's possessions, stealing a wallet, purchasing items with a stolen credit card at a nearby gas station and then calling back trying to update her address so she wouldn't be caught. The doctors are great and understanding. But the front desk staff is unprofessional at times. The med tech was kind and compassionate. The tech taking COVID-19 swabs was coldly clinical but professional. The location near Juan Tabo and Montgomery was nicer and more consistently professional and compassionate. Maybe they were just overworked that day. I was in pain and a bit insistent too. But triage is the reason for the lower rating.

First of all, re a number of the complaints posted - DC doesn't deal with complicated things, so I don't think DC should be penalized for not being able to take care of anything but minor illnesses and injuries. If you're having seizures, go to an ER. Secondly, I've been going to DC for years, and I've always loved it. (In fact, one time I truly believe that DC saved my life after an ER sent me home.) However, I've been at DC two times this past year, and DC has changed. The first time - I wasn't sure. However, after yesterday - I am very sure, and I won't be returning. The receptionist acted like they were bored and/or tired and like they couldn't care less about anyone or anything. Also, I had made an appointment online only to be told that it really wasn't an appointment. I waited exactly an hour over my appointment time to be seen. But the really great thing was "PA Kristin" - who really couldn't have cared less either. I have Type 2 Diabetes. I told her that I had come to get a referral so that I could see a doctor in Endocrinology in my Medicare advantage plan. I needed the referral to see an Endocrinologist, because I didn't (and don't) have a primary care doctor. I was concerned about my feet and toes have been tinkling. She told me that she could get me in to see a podiatrist very quickly. What does that have to do with diabetes? I told her that I was angry at the system but not at her. She told me that she 'understood my frustration' - as she didn't listen to me and kept interrupting me. And when I became irritated with her behavior, she threw a minor childish hissy fit and was SO RUDE. Gimme a break, PA Kristin, you DO NOT understand my frustration. You can write yourself any prescription (well, within limits). You will never wait for 6-9 months to see any doctor (well, NM has a real lack of MDs - that's for sure) because you're one of the In Crowd. DC: I have also learned, upon doing research, that you don't pay most of your support staff a living wage, which, today, in ABQ, is $20/hr. You don't have enough employees to provide good medical care, AND your employees are not happy to be working for DC. (You also have 10-11 open positions.) As for your latest "Renew" - you must be kidding. You need to shore up your medical care without giving 'spa care'. DC, You've become like any other Western Med provider in NM: your patients all look like walking dollar signs to you. And the quicker you can get through one patient, you can get to the next patient and the next and just rack up the $$$. I can remember when you weren't this way. Anyway, I won't be returning. I can get bad medical care and rude medical personnel EVERYWHERE in NM. I don't need you for that. smh

We called in advance. You need an appointment because they get priority. That's totally false. They just want you to get in the door. Consider another option.

This location isn't a good one to visit, every time we come we wait for 3+ hours WITH an appointment. There's obviously no reason for an appointment when they continue to make everyone wait. You have to call the front desk and tell them you've been for waiting for so long in your room and in the waiting room to make the doctors come in your room finally. I also saw somebody else come to the front and tell the front desk that they've been waiting in their room for over an hour. Save your time and go to the one on Coors!

I tried to call, but the automated message said to go online. I went online to make an appointment, but the website said to walk-in. So I walked in, and they said they are not taking walk-ins.
