Dr. Genter has done a great job of making the necessary adjustments to my hips and spine to completely relieve the severe pain I was experiencing in my lower back. I really like Dr. Genter's practice style and her team is great.

I first came to see Karen two years ago because after I had my last c section I had tingling in my hand and couldn't feel my pinkie finger. I was dropping silverware, drinks, and was just having a difficult time using my hand in general. I was also having weird pain in my feet. The doctor said I had carpel tunnel and would need surgery for my hand to be back to normal. My mother recommended me to find a pediatric chiropractor to see me and the baby as well. He was having constipation issues and acid reflux. We started seeing her twice a week for around four weeks. The baby's constipation completely went away, and my feet and hand started showing slight improvement after my first visit. By week four my had was completely back to normal as were my feet. This time I came to her because I had a pinched nerve that was giving me extreme pain for 5 months. I was having shooting pain in my arm and painful tingling in my hand. I saw her for a month again twice a week and it resolved little by little. I can't even tell you how thankful I am to have found her. The doctors were telling me this last time I had chronic pain. It was really unbearable and made it difficult to sleep and perform daily functions. The doctors had no solution for me at all except to just accept that this was how my life was going to be. I had been seeing different chiropractors and massage therapist with no relief for the whole five months I was in pain. My advice to you is to seek out professionals like Karen, and be patient because nothing happens overnight. Regular doctors are not in the business of healing your body. I love how she not only adjusts your entire body, but will then take time to focus on areas that are troublesome.

I made a appointment and gotten my days mixed up I will take the blame for. I got a letter in the mail stating that I missed my appointment and was hit with a 59.99 fee for missed appointment but I called she said that I was given multiple times of communication on if so I would have canceled it dew financial problems. Like I said I would take them blame on get the times mixed up but when I can called explaining the situation the receptionist was very moody on my explanation and aggressive on having me schedule for another time. I told I'll just pay it and have no business with this customer service have nothing wrong to say about the doctor just very disrespectful on a minor mistake to be treated like this so if you are planning to come here make here you know everything to the T

Dr. Genter treated me while I was pregnant for over six months. She has also been my chosen chiropractor the last 3 years as well. I recommend anyone I meet to visit her because of her dedication to listen to my complaints and thoroughly work through the issues with my back and hips. I'm a former gymnast, and in addition to my previous pregnancy and my desk job, my spine was a disaster! I really appreciate how kind she is and how soon her appointments are always available.

An overall NEGATIVE experience. I was referred by my midwife for postpartum treatment. Over several visits, my comfort level was somewhat improved. However, I was very disappointed with the overall experience. The front desk staff person was very rude and difficult to interact with. The consultation with Dr. Genter was brief and impersonal. Additionally, I referred my sister (who is pregnant and experiencing pelvic pain) because of Dr. Genter's representation as specializing in pregnancy. Although they originally confirmed that they would accept UHC insurance, they called her back to cancel the day before her appointment, stating that Dr. Genter did not want to take the time to submit the correct paperwork for her UHC plan. Again, an overall NEGATIVE experience.

I have been going to Dr Genter for 10 years! She continues to help me when I have pain and even when I just need a tune up, I feel great after. I feel so comfortable with her and have referred many friends and family.

Dr. Genter has received high praise from my GP and Orthopedic Surgeon for her astute observation and having my back X-rayed. Because of her thorough follow thru, I am now on a treatment plan. Thank you Dr. Genter for being so caring and professional!

I was referred to this chiro by a good friend that swears by her. When I called to see about an appointment the receptionist looked up my insurance and told me I have a $45.00 co-pay and that the chiro, assuage and acupuncture benefits are limited. Now a good chiropractor is worth ten times that much I understand. However we pay a great deal of money for insurance and intend to use it when possible. I explained to the receptionist that I usually only pay a co-pay of $6.00 to $8.00. Further, that the co-pay of $45.00 is reserved for specialists. To which she replied "well, chiropractic is a speciality! Now she has a point but anyone who has dealt with any insurance knows that chiropractic is grouped with massage therapy and acupuncture when it comes to insurance. I just can't spend time educating a receptionist that doesn't know her job. This doc may be great but if you can't get past reception then what good is it? I have found a chiro that gets much higher reviews and no receptionist issues! I find it interesting that most of the negative reviews I have read about this doc revolve around office staff and not the care to patients. Hint hint!

I have been going to Dr. Genter for five years now. She has always taken the time to speak with you not only regarding your medical needs but on a personal note. She always has a smile on her face and has been very polite to me every month that I go. Her staff has always been nice to me especially when I need to reschedule many times due to my crazy work schedule. She even assisted me in getting a tens unit and got insurance to cover most of it. I was impressed. I live in near Rio Rancho and it's worth making the trip across town to have my treatment.

Nice lady very personable but made my issues worse and caused new ones. (I was not in a car accident or any such trauma. Just had some things that had settled into a bad spot) This was my first experience with snap and crack chiropractic work. She wanted to see me every week. I went 4 times before I went back to see my old chiropractor in Delaware when I was on a trip. My DE doc had to fix things that I had never had problems with before. She said she had never seen me in this bad of shape before. She gave me a recommendation to never see this chiropractor (Dr Genter) again and a few names of people to check out here in Albuquerque. I have a good chiropractor now. I honestly don't think Dr Genter knows what she's doing. The office is clean and professional looking. They have some fancy equipment like ultrasound and the traction tables, but it all comes down to did she help? The answer is no she made things worse and created new problems.
