10/22/21: ***THIS IS NOW CHAVEZ FAMILY EYECARE***Dr Chavez immediately said, "It's been just a little over 2 years since I last saw you. How are you?" That was special because I didn't even remember that she did my last eye exam Excellent, professional, inexpensive and the only Optometrist I'll see in this town. You'll have a bit of a wait for an appointment but it's worth it.

I called and left several messages to set up an appointment and never got a call back. I drove to set up an appointment and the doors were locked. The receptionist saw me and walked up so the papers on her hand but didn't acknowledge I was there at her glass door. On the door they have a website and that is how I did the appointment. But their voice message never mentions it and they don't return calls. Crappy service.

My mission coming here was to get a new prescription. First impression when i arrived was really good. The receptionist was extremely friendly and my check in process was smooth and quick. Ten minutes after my scheduled appointment, which was scheduled at 10 because they open at 10, the doctor walked in. With no acknowledgement or apology for her tardiness. She immediately started barking orders at the receptionist. Something about sending a fax that was due yesterday. Who faxes anymore? LolWhen i was finally called in for my exam it started with the usual "1 or 2". "1 or 2" When i paused before answering Dr Curry informed me " you need to tell me 1 or 2 because i'm not going to ask you again". Well, ok then. Can i see them again? Bottom line, i will not be visiting this location again. A-my time is just as valuableB-I don't have time for the attitude. C-I got my new prescription so mission accomplished

It's really hard to rate a Dr. I have always been one of those people that feels that unless you are of similar education and knowledge, that you do not have a say-so about how someone does their job. I will say that Dr Curry has always done a great job of making my vision clear with her service. The only thing that sinks the rating here is that her office assistant that runs the front desk and the phones is very rude. I understand that she is foreign and there may be a culture disconnect, but is this really someone that you feel should be the first person people interact with when entering your practice?! I am always extremely nice with her, but I always feel uncomfortable with her perceived mood towards me, which seems unhappy.I recommend Dr. Curry, but beware that she is not the person that greets you at the door.

Quick, efficient, professional. Dr. Curry was running a little behind, but my entire appointment took about 45 minutes. She was polite and so was the staff. Couldn't ask for a better experience! Merci.

This review is only for Dr Chavez, she was very kind and make you feel comfortable. I felt as though she listened, engaged you in her plan of care and as a team decided on a treatment plan. I am not speaking I'll of Dr Curry, but she was not as engaging.

Very pleasant experience. The receptionist was friendly and helpful. The doctor was very thorough & answered all my questions. Its conveniently located and they take walk-in appointments. I would recommend to anyone looking for a new eye doctor.

Accurate service and clean environment. Have been a patient for years. Plan ahead and book online. Same day appts are difficult to schedule as she is great at what she does.

My experience with Dr Curry was awesome! Her and her staff were very friendly. I saw some negative reviews on yelp and almost went somewhere else but I'm glad I didn't! It was a great price and had everything that I needed. I was also able to schedule a next day appointment which was great!

Dr. Currie is old-school, that is, she spends time with her patients, explains what she's doing and why, asks if patient has any questions, and is kind and patient. I completely recommend her.The support people in the office are kind and knowledgeable.Her prices are as low as I've seen.I completely recommend her.
