Recommend Doyle Roofers... but only to your enemies. When we bought our home in mid-2019, after inspection we learned that Doyle Roof 'Masters' had done substantial repairs on the roof beforehand. So, in late March '21 after a leak sprung from the kitchen ceiling of course we called Doyle. They inspected and said it wasn't covered by their 3 month warranty but they repaired it a few days later. After further rainstorms, water came pouring in the same place and damage was caused to the interior, again Doyle attended, and this time Mr. Doyle Sr. scoped the damage, and they 'fixed' it, they said. So, a week later another storm caused us to place buckets around the kitchen (and now the dining room) so my wife called Doyle for urgent help. They scheduled us for a few days later on Friday July 2nd in the AM. But as AM turned to PM we never saw them, so we called and spoke with Theresa Doyle and she said "Sorry we are closed for the holiday". Several more storms came and tested our bucket limits. We now have several areas of the ceiling and various walls with cracks and water-damage to deal with. When we called Doyle we got "one of the owners" Byron Killian, and after I said that I was disappointed that the repairs had taken three attempts and was continuing to leak (it never ceased) he got defensive. Instead of trying to appease the customer he was intent on telling me that "This is not our roof and we don't guarantee other builders work" - I explained calmly that it was their original repair and subsequent attempts that we wanted re-fixed. He said he'd come out and look at it. When he did he was equally combative and followed up with "we can walk away from this at any time" but conceded he would discuss the problem with others and get back to us the following day, in the meantime he promised to do a temporary silicon based repair to avoid further damages. Well, we waited and got nothing from him the following day, or anytime the following week. I called and spoke to the dispatcher and he promised to have Byron to call back a couple of hours later (that was five days ago). So we cut our losses and used a different, more reputable roofer who stands by their work. When they inspected they found the issue in minutes. There was a time when Doyle might have been "roof masters" but sadly that was a long time ago. My advice is DON'T USE THEM. Period.

It's a sad state when you're in need of a new roof and you search around, make calls, leave messages, send emails and all you get is a generated response stating someone will contact you soon. Four days later after the last email stating I needed someone to provide a quote.....NOTHING! Save your time and skip this company if you need roof repair or replacement!

Scheduled an estimate for 4 pm, and about 9 am the doorbell rang... it was a nice older man who just stopped by to tell me that it was far too windy to do an estimate and he would check the weather report and call me to reschedule. LOL! Um.. ok. Weird way to do business and a long way to drive when a phone call would have sufficed. Needless to say....no phone call to reschedule yet.

We had a terrible experience with Doyle roofing. First, the estimator Byron came out to inspect our roof in June 2022. He said it was in good shape and just needed patching. He estimated the roof at 12 years old. We accepted the bid for the roof repair and he said he would schedule it, and that it could take awhile as they were busy. Fine. We waited for weeks with no contact, expecting that Doyle roofing would contact us to tell us the repair date. Nothing. Finally called them in early August and they said it had never been scheduled, the estimator had forgotten. We asked to be scheduled but again they said they were busy so they couldn't do it till late Sept early Oct, another two month delay. There were no apologies or urgency regarding this mistake in their service. The repair was scheduled for early Oct, but then a few days before they called and had to push it out further. Finally, in late Oct they came to do the repair. Now, four months later in Feb 2023, we open up the ceiling to repair drywall/insulation damage from the original leak, and find that the leak is still happening. We call to say we are upset that the repairs that we waited so long for were not even done correctly. We have tenants who have moved temporarily and husband has taken time off work out so that we can do the drywall repairs - it took a lot of coordination and we have very short window of time to get this fixed. Doyle's response was that they would "put it on the schedule"! And not even the repair, just an estimator. I explain that we need it done now, and they manage to schedule for the next day. There is a light dusting of snow overnight, and they cancel via text. I call to find out what's going on, and they say it was just an estimator coming not a repair person anyway! It's a sunny, calm, clear day, the dusting of snow will be gone in hours, so there's no reason an estimator couldn't at least assess it. I am very frustrated so they put me on with a female office manager who basically tells me "tough sh*t". They aren't going to make any extra effort to resolve this series of mistakes by their team, nor are they going to refund. She goes on to tell me that there's no warranty and I shouldn't have expected the recent repairs to have fixed the problem as my roof is "on it's last legs". This is in direct conflict with the estimator's assessment that it had 5-7 years left and was in good shape. The series of mistakes, poor work, lack of response and terrible customer service are really appalling in a local company that says it shows pride in its work. My mistake was sticking with Doyle Roofing and trying to give them a chance after the first glaring error and poor response. As a small business owner myself, if I make a mistake I will go above and beyond to rectify it with the customer. My experience with Doyle was the complete opposite: total lack of concern, no responsibility, and putting blame on the customer. Stay away!

We had a problem with our roof due to some failing roof material. We contacted Doyle Roofing because of their solid reputation in the city.We could not have been happier with a company to do business with. Awesome people! Mike, Theresa, Enrique and his crew, they were all fantastic! Special thanks and gratitude to Byron, he knew so much about roofing, he was like the Professor of roofing, and totally made me feel like I made the right choice going with them. They made my repairs with state of the art materials, and have one of the best warranties in the business. Your home is only as good as the roof it sits under, don't take it for granted. Do your roof a favor and go with Doyle Roof Masters!

Wish there is a negative ranking system... in this case -100.Disclaimer: This is strictly based on my own personal experiences with Doyle Roof Master outfit. I am choosing to write a review here however it does not mean other clients might have been treated same or similar ways...simply there is no way of knowing...except by reading reviews written by others on online review websites like this one.First of all, if you ever were a client of this outfit I strongly suggest that you go up or hire a reliable roof inspector to gauge the quality of their work after 4, 6..8...months especially if roof job had been subjected to hot weather during those periods And pay close attention to bonding, flashing, drainage slop (i.e. Ponding issue), "inside" of new drain ducks through wall, etc..This outfit seems to gamble on the fact that not that many homeowners would go up to the roof for routine inspection (if ever), especially if you are of certain capability and age. OK. Here it is...It seems grandfather started this business so long ago and all was good when he was in charge. However, son / grandson eventually took over and seems downhill from there and now up to...in a gutter.Expensive brand new roofing job done by Dolye Roof crew already coming apart along "multiple" seams after less than 4 months or so.Only found out about this very lousy amateurish roofing job because there was a leak in a different part (not related to new roofing job but a patch up job done by this same outfit in the past) of roof...that's when I ended up going up to the roof and saw how prematurely seams along the new roof materials were already coming apart in many places of the new roof.Had to contact this outfit for a warranty job and a grandson showed up, even though I had my own ladder, the grandson insisted on using his own ladder (I will get to why this is a main part of their MO later).Went up to the roof and showed the kid the very substandard job he and his crew performed. He started acting very passive aggressive...which caused me to to be more assertive about pointing out "many other deficiencies " in additions to the main loosen-seam issue. Finally he got very loud, verbally aggressive and started to keep saying that the written contract is "Voided" if homeowner does not, something along the meaning of..., keep quite i.e. saying something negatives. I was, naturally, surprised by how arrogant this young kid was and started to say something about quality of the roofing job again...That's when he abruptly turned away and this manner-less kid preceded to go down the ladder; at same time yelling loudly that he would take his ladder away and leave me on the root! That was quite a display of immature childish behaviors by this young person...could not have believed what I was seeing and hearing. It almost felt like that the Ladder Trick (rhymes with that one-trick pony embarrassment) is one he employs for a specific case like this where he felt like he had to gain a puny upper hand and, guess what...as I was going over other online review sites after the fact, this same trick was mentioned by reviewer! What a surprise!...not.This outfit did not seem to understand the life's fact that we the consumer would eventfully catch on to what this outfit is about...in due time. Now when I think back...it comes across as some pre planned scenario on his part where this kind of passive aggressive (and very offensive if I might add) behavior by him is part of well-honed MO to push, goad, upset homeowners so much so that homeowners would finally get fed up and say somethings...that can come back to haunt them...which surely would lead to the "Void" clause in the contract.Thereby this outfit gets what they were aiming for all along: Do as cheap and low quality job as possible and if homeowners find out about the lousy substandard job, push, goad, aggravate them into saying something that will void the terms of warranty contract...relieving this outfit any warranty work responsibility forever. After this fiasco...very obvious display of butchered professionalism by employees of Doyle Roofing Maters outfit, I promptly terminated any future business dealing with them i.e I did not want them to make more messier job out of already well messed up job.Total loss of confidence in their professionalism. In a way they succeeded getting what they wanted by making things very unpleasant and tiring for homeowners...causing them to give up....However all is not lost here...by writing this review, hopefully some of you the potential clients read this and judge accordingly. As we already know finding a good reliable honest contractor is never an easy endeavor....so good luck searching to you homeowners out there!BTW. CW is not my real name. Using it because, reading other reviews out in internet, seems that this outfit has tendency to harass people for writing negative but true reviews about them.

Unfortunately, I feel compelled to write another review about Doyle Roof Masters. The repair done in March of this year didn't work and as a result I have another leak in exactly the same place. I was just informed by the company that they will not come out and do any additional work (eg., fix their original work) because of the negative review I left after the last performance. Instead of learning and improving they are choosing to be vindictive. You may ask why did I bother to go back? Well, (1) it was their work the first time and (2) I've worked with them on and off for over 20 years, and wanted to give them another chance. I'm sorry to say it was a mistake on my part; this seems to be the new way they do business...

I had a leak in my roof and requested an estimate from this company. due to the circumstances I jumped on the chance to get it fixed. they came out and replaced the whole section. I then found that the roof was leaking in the same spot where the roof was supposedly repaired. after $1,000 bill where I was assured the issue was resolved. I called back to advise that the job did not hold up and needed somebody to come out asap to avoid further drywall damage. The person who answered the phone advised me that it was not their problem and work completed by the company only has a 90 limited warranty and that they would not cover faulty repairs unless they installed the whole roof. she was very eager to offer to send someone out in about a week to provide a new estimate that I would be charged for. had I known that I was paying for a service that would not hold up against the very little rain we do get in Albuquerque I would have never gone with this company. when I tried to get further information on why the work wasn't backed up the lady on the phone said she would have someone contact me and hung up. do not use this company unless your ready to overpay for work that will not hold up.
