Double Take

This is the biggest consignment store in Santa Fe and it has something for everyone. This place is chocked full of high-quality clothing, shoes, western ware, even leather jackets. One thing that got my attention was their enormous collection of cowboy boots numbering in the hundreds. Tons of jewelry, accessories and vintage items. This place has one of the largest collections of silver turquoise jewelry I've ever seen.The downstairs area is only half the picture, when you head upstairs, there's a lot more waiting for you. They do have one room upstairs where everything is 75% off. Yes there is a large American Indian presence here, but that's not all, I found some vintage car parts, records, numerous books, and lots of glassware. There is more to see here than even the photos that I posted.

Store ia very cool and eclectic. However, the prices for a thrift store are inflated. If you don't mind spending that kind of money, please disregard. I was hoping to shop in peace as the store felt overwhelming only to be followed around the entire time by staff. It killed my shopping experience.

They review your clothes for consignment quickly. They are kind and professional. The store is clean and tidy and is always fun to shop in and see what is new to purchase. It is huge so it's important to make sure you leave enough time to see all the great stuff!! Not just clothes! They have great furniture and home accessories. Beautiful jewelry. You name it!! All high quality!!

This so called thrift store is over whelming. Large store packed full of very expensive silver jewelry from all eras and other items. Seemed more like a fine store than thrift store. Had so many high dollar items mixed in with sale items Something for everyone. 2 floors packed full. You can find a treasure if you shop here regularly. Nice staff members. #tikitriathlon.

Good selection of secondhand consignment clothes and they have a back entrance called "Double Take Encore" which is where all the western wear is (mostly shirts, boots, hats, vests, belts). I found it a bit overpriced (and I'm from Seattle so that is saying something). That being said, when they tag each new item, it has a color to show when they brought it into the store, and after a certain amount of time, they mark it down by 20% and then eventually they mark it down by 50%, so it I'm not shocked the new stock is overpriced.

What a fun store to browse! We just walked by it and we couldn't resist, the decor was too funky!They have a bit of everything, it's big, from clothes, western attire, boots, cool posters, home decor. Decent condition, prices are a tad high.It is a cool store to explore, with unique items, one of a kind. Glad we stopped by!

I get such weird clothes here. I love it. Where else am I going to find a silk shirt with a Bahamas scene and a turquoise paisley smoking jacket? Or the Freemason sword I bought? What am I supposed to go to more than one store for swords and weird smoking jackets like some kind of uncivilized person?

I walked in and was not even acknowledged. There were ladies that saw when I walked in. Made my way through the store and finally went to the counter to pay. My purchase was over a $100.00 worth of items.There were two clerks that worked on my check out. The second clerk took my funds and did not give me the large bag I purchased for my goods. I called her out on it, and she proceeds to go through the receipts to validate I really paid for the large bag. Finally, the first clerk confirmed that the large bag was indeed on my ticket. What does the second clerk do? She puts the large bag on the counter, and I had to package my own goods!!!!! I have never been treated so poorly at any establishment is Santa Fe. Double Take, you give the Santa Fe Plaza area a bad name globally.Be careful who you treat poorly. Go watch the movie title Pretty Woman. I am a 36 veteran of a global company and have interactions with colleagues in over 10 countries. Would I ever recommend your place? I don't think so.What is really sad is I went to another establishment in town and told them what happened. The lady at the establishment tells me she hears from other customers as well how poorly people are treated. If this establishment closed, I would rejoice. I think this place is a disgrace to the other local Santa Fe businesses as you give the area a bad reputation. Stop judging based on how someone looks. Good riddance to you!!!!!!

Courteous and efficient consignment. It appears unsettled but they actually know what they are doing. Somehow I always spend too much in the jewelry section.
